Product description
.
Two-component PUR-top coat, light-fast, clear,
high gloss, can be polished and buffed,
with especially good scratch resistance.
Top coat for colourless, closed-pore high-gloss
surfaces..
IMO-certified (flame-retardant coating material
for seagoing vessels).
Fields of application
.
in the entire interior completion, including
kitchen and bathroom - also for coating the
interior of ships ; as finish on PUR-Colour
lacquers DU 429-1.
Not suitable for applications within the scope of
ChemVOCFarbV or under EC-Guideline
2004/42/EEC (Decopaint).
Handling guidelines
.
Single- to double-coat application with 100 - 150
g/m² on suitable primers, max. total moist
application amount: 300 g/m².
Maximum total application amount of the wet
film, if used as flame-retardant coating material
for seagoing vessels with 150 g/m².
Ground treatment: Pre-sanding of primer grain
size 400 - 800/ dust removal.

Special advice
.
If used as flame retardant coating material for
seagoing vessels according to SOLAS 74/88,
Reg. II-2/3, II-2/5 and II-2/6, latest version, IMO
Resolution MSC.36(63)-(1994 HSC-Code) 7,
IMO Resolution MSC.97(73)-(2000 HSC-Code)
7, this product can only be combined with other
approved and technically suitable products.
Use of product possible on bleached surfaces in
combination with suitable PUR primers with
DU 429-1.
Pre-priming is possible e.g. with the following
products, according to the desired surface and
the respective substrate material:
DG 572-1, DG 417, DG 468-3, DG 434, DG
416.
General guidelines for handling
.
Of PUR materials:
PUR-lacquers should not be dried and
processed at room temperature below 18°C and
40% relative air humidity.Ideal values are 20 -
25°C, 50 - 65% relative air humidity.Variations
lead to drying and curing problems. To avoid
faulty bonding, please pre-sand PUR-lacquer
surfaces immediately before applying lacquer
and apply the top coat to the sanded surfaces
as soon as possible. The final hardness of the
finish is attained - with proper storage (at least
20°C room temperature) - after one week.

working conditions!
