Charles Langford<br />
The Krahlahome<br />
Charles has been a member of <strong>Hitchin</strong> <strong>Thespians</strong> since 2000. He<br />
has performed in many of the shows since then, most recently as<br />
Motel the Tailor in last years production of ‘Fiddler on the Roof’.<br />
His other favourite roles have included Tobias in 'Sweeney Todd',<br />
Cornelius in 'Hello Dolly', Demetrius in 'A Midsummer Night's<br />
Dream' (The Lytton Players), and Bossy Barbara in ‘Beauty and the<br />
Beast’. He says his most memorable experience was performing<br />
at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2007 playing Malcom in ‘The<br />
Full Monty’. His last principal role for us was the Arbiter in 'Chess'.<br />
He says he is looking forward to working with the wonderful<br />
company in ‘The King & I’.<br />
Mike Roberts<br />

Mike has been a member of <strong>Hitchin</strong> <strong>Thespians</strong> for 26 years. He and<br />
his family have always been involved in musical theatre and indeed he<br />
met his wife Carolyn whilst performing in ‘West Side Story’ with <strong>Hitchin</strong><br />
<strong>Thespians</strong> back in 1985. As well as performing with <strong>Thespians</strong>, the<br />
Roberts family are also involved in a theatre group in Sandy who are<br />
currently rehearsing for their next Panto, ‘Robin Hood’. Mike has had a<br />
few roles over the years, most recently as Oliver Hix being one quarter<br />
of the barber shop quartet in ‘The Music Man’.<br />
Mike is pleased to see his daughters following the family tradition and<br />
in fact this show really is a family affair with Carolyn, Mike and both<br />
their daughters (Emma and Charlie) treading the boards tonight.
