Hospice Yukon Society
Provides support for individuals and their loved ones
facing advanced illness, death and bereavement through
compassionate one-to-one support, education and
advocacy.
Public educational workshops “Living with Loss” are
offered four times per year for individuals as well as for
professionals and caregivers. Hospice offers counseling,
Healing Touch, vigil support and various groups, such as
walking, discussion and art/journaling, a resource library
of books, pamphlets and audio/visual materials is
available to the public and can be mailed to those living
outside of Whitehorse.
Membership is $10.00 per year for seniors. This includes
2 newsletters per year with information on programs and
public meetings. All services are free and confidential.
