DESCRIPTION:<br />

<strong>TURCO</strong> <strong>6813</strong> THIN is a light amber, diphase liquid developed for removing chemical resistant paints,<br />

such as epoxies, polyurethanes, and epoxy primers, from aircraft alloys, by immersion methods.<br />

FEATURES:<br />

<strong>TURCO</strong> <strong>6813</strong> THIN offers these features:<br />

1. Does not contain chlorinated solvents, phenols, chromates, or other heavy metals<br />

2. Long tank life<br />

3. Use as received - no mixing or dilution required<br />

4. Operates at or near room temperature 15-50°C (60-120°F)<br />

5. Flash point over 92°C (200°F), Pensky-Martens Method<br />

6. Solution has low vapor emission<br />

7. Oil seal reduces odor<br />

8. Passes ASTM F519 Type 1A hydrogen embrittlement test<br />

USE INSTRUCTIONS:<br />

Equipment: Tanks and associated equipment should be fabricated from mild or stainless steel.<br />

Stainless steel is preferred. Do not use tanks fabricated from thermoplastic materials, fiberglass or<br />

tanks with plastic liners.<br />

Application: Transfer <strong>TURCO</strong> <strong>6813</strong> THIN from container to tank. Immerse parts below seal until<br />

paint is loosened. Operate tank from 15-50°C (60-120°F). Rinse with high pressure water. Dry parts<br />

by any convenient method.<br />

DISPOSAL INFORMATION:<br />

Dispose of spent solution per local, state and regional regulations. Refer to your <strong>TURCO</strong> MATERIAL<br />

SAFETY DATA SHEET for additional disposal information.<br />

WARNING! Causes skin and eye irritation<br />

<strong>TURCO</strong> <strong>6813</strong> THIN contains benzyl alcohol and ammonia. Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing.<br />

Do not take internally. Use with adequate (equivalent to outdoor) ventilation.<br />

Protective clothing, such as a chemical face shield or goggles and gloves, apron and boots, made<br />

from solvent resistant materials should be worn when handling and using this product. Air purifying full<br />

face respirators with ammonia cartridges should be worn if concentrations is above PEL.<br />

Store in closed containers away from excessive heat or direct sunlight.<br />

additional precautionary, handling and first aid information.<br />
