Eye, a new opera film premiering in November<br />

d’Amore, Lohengrin (HGO) and as Ms. Venora<br />

the reigning Fitness America World Champion.<br />

She performed for the Houston Grand Opera as<br />
a principal dancer for the world premiere of<br />

NATHAN MADDEN (Rusty Charlie/<br />
Ensemble) is delighted to return to TUTS after<br />
dancing with BJM DANSE MONTRÉAL. A<br />
graduate of Juilliard, he trained with Arnold<br />
Spohr, Robert Ivy, HSPVA, Atlanta and<br />
Houston Ballet Academies performing works<br />
by Tharp, Tudor, Ohad, and in Regional theater<br />

Captain) returns to TUTS after appearing in<br />
Urban Cowboy. Originally from Canada, he has<br />
performed on Broadway, with the Stratford<br />
Shakespeare Festival, Drayton Entertainment,<br />
<strong><strong>The</strong>atre</strong> Calgary and Manitoba <strong><strong>The</strong>atre</strong> Centre.<br />

STEVEN JAMAIL (Conductor/Music<br />
Director) is thrilled to be coming home to<br />
TUTS. His musical Vote! was part of the 2009<br />
New York International Fringe Festival and<br />
just received its regional premiere here at<br />
TUTS. He arranged and conducted music for<br />
NBC’s tree-lighting at Rockefeller Center for<br />
Rosie O’Donnell, composed the original song<br />
for Rachel Ray’s 40 th birthday episode and<br />
served as a music director for episodes in<br />
season 10 of <strong>The</strong> Apprentice. He has soloed<br />
onstage with jazz legend Chick Corea, the Los<br />
Angeles Chamber Orchestra, performed live<br />
on Rosie Radio (Sirius/XM) and recently<br />
conducted tribute concerts on Broadway for<br />
Chita Rivera, Cyndi Lauper and Queen<br />
Latifah. His original lyrics and arrangement of<br />
“Fever” were heard on Oprah’s penultimate<br />
episode and featured Dr. Phil, Nate Berkus and<br />
Dr. Oz.<br />

KATE SUTTON-JOHNSON (Scenic<br />
Designer) is a Twin Cities based designer,<br />
specializing in environmental, exhibit, and<br />
stage design. Some ongoing clients include the<br />
Ordway Center; the Indiana Repertory <strong><strong>The</strong>atre</strong>;<br />
the Children’s <strong><strong>The</strong>atre</strong> Company (MN);<br />
Weston Playhouse (VT); and Florida Stage<br />
among others. Additionally, Kate has taught<br />
design as a guest instructor at a number of<br />
colleges and universities. She was the<br />
recipient of the 2007 Ivey Award for Emerging<br />
Artist. Kate grew up in Richmond, Virginia<br />
and studied set design at the North Carolina<br />
School of the Arts.<br />
