JOSEPH MAHOWALD (Sky Masterson)
recently starred in the National Tour of 9 To 5,
appeared on Broadway in The Pirate Queen,
the title roles of Jekyll and Hyde and Les Miz as
Javert and Enjolras. Off-Broadway: The Prince
and the Pauper, Antigone, The Little Prince and
Lone Star Love. Joe recorded several CDs,
appeared in film, soaps and has extensive
regional credits. He was featured soloist at
Carnegie Hall, and has sung with nearly a score

this young soprano is also a composer,

Eye, a new opera film premiering in November
2011. She was recently seen in L’elisir
d’Amore, Lohengrin (HGO) and as Ms. Venora

JUPINKO (Ensemble/Hot Box Girl) lives in Los
Angeles and has appeared in a number of theatre
productions including CATS and Cabaret. She is
a fitness trainer and model appearing in
numerous fitness infomercials. Currently, she is
the reigning Fitness America World Champion.

City native, she recently moved to NYC to

a principal dancer for the world premiere of

NATHAN MADDEN (Rusty Charlie/
Ensemble) is delighted to return to TUTS after

graduate of Juilliard, he trained with Arnold
Spohr, Robert Ivy, HSPVA, Atlanta and
Houston Ballet Academies performing works

directed/choreographed the productions of 42 nd
Street at the Tropicana as well as at The El

STEVEN JAMAIL (Conductor/Music
Director) is thrilled to be coming home to
TUTS. His musical Vote! was part of the 2009
New York International Fringe Festival and
just received its regional premiere here at
TUTS. He arranged and conducted music for
NBC’s tree-lighting at Rockefeller Center for
Rosie O’Donnell, composed the original song
for Rachel Ray’s 40 th birthday episode and
served as a music director for episodes in
season 10 of The Apprentice. He has soloed
onstage with jazz legend Chick Corea, the Los
Angeles Chamber Orchestra, performed live
on Rosie Radio (Sirius/XM) and recently
conducted tribute concerts on Broadway for
Chita Rivera, Cyndi Lauper and Queen
Latifah. His original lyrics and arrangement of
“Fever” were heard on Oprah’s penultimate
episode and featured Dr. Phil, Nate Berkus and
Dr. Oz.
RICHARD WINKLER (Lighting Designer)
has designed over 30 shows at TUTS, including:
Urban Cowboy, Hairspray, Little Shop of
Horrors, Meet Me in St. Louis,
Miss Saigon. When You Wish, White
Christmas, A Wonderful Life, A Chorus Line,
Funny Girl, Tommy and Hello Dolly! Elsewhere,
over 35 years of plays, musicals, and operas,
including: the 25th anniversary national tour
of Evita, the national tour of Fame The
Musical, and the New York City Opera revival
of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella. He is

KATE SUTTON-JOHNSON (Scenic
Designer) is a Twin Cities based designer,
specializing in environmental, exhibit, and
stage design. Some ongoing clients include the
Ordway Center; the Indiana Repertory Theatre;
the Children’s Theatre Company (MN);
Weston Playhouse (VT); and Florida Stage
among others. Additionally, Kate has taught
design as a guest instructor at a number of
colleges and universities. She was the
recipient of the 2007 Ivey Award for Emerging
Artist. Kate grew up in Richmond, Virginia
and studied set design at the North Carolina
School of the Arts.
