<strong>Instructions</strong> on submission <strong>of</strong> <strong>Diploma</strong> <strong>Thesis</strong> <strong>into</strong> <strong>AIS2</strong><br />

<strong>Diploma</strong> <strong>Thesis</strong> Assignment<br />

Sign the „<strong>Diploma</strong> <strong>Thesis</strong> Assignment“ printed from <strong>AIS2</strong> system, have it sign to<br />

your tutor and to the Head <strong>of</strong> the Department/Clinic<br />

Approval <strong>of</strong> the final version <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Diploma</strong> <strong>Thesis</strong> has to be signed by the tutor<br />

in the pertinent part <strong>of</strong> Assignment, before printing, binding and registration <strong>into</strong><br />

AIS<br />

Signed „<strong>Diploma</strong> <strong>Thesis</strong> Assignment“ is an essential part <strong>of</strong> the printed form <strong>of</strong><br />

<strong>Diploma</strong> <strong>Thesis</strong>, add scanned copy to the electronic version. Do not forget to<br />

submit one copy <strong>of</strong> Assignment at the Study Department<br />

It is necessary to put the <strong>Diploma</strong> <strong>Thesis</strong> code on the cover <strong>of</strong> the printed and<br />

bound form <strong>of</strong> <strong>Diploma</strong> <strong>Thesis</strong>. You can find it in AIS, go to the Study evidence –<br />

Theses, click on the “runner” and choose <strong>Thesis</strong>. The code contains<br />

approximately 36 characters – therefore it is necessary to make the column wider<br />

to see the whole code.<br />

Registration <strong>of</strong> electronic version <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Diploma</strong> <strong>Thesis</strong><br />

<strong>Diploma</strong> <strong>Thesis</strong> must be in PDF format, enabling to obtain text information, must not be<br />

protected from being read, printed and electronic form must be identical.<br />

Submission <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Diploma</strong> <strong>Thesis</strong> is done in <strong>AIS2</strong>. After you fill in the necessary<br />

information, the <strong>AIS2</strong> system automatically generates the “License agreement”, where<br />

student- author, determines the manner <strong>of</strong> accessibility and use <strong>of</strong> his work. Afterwards the<br />

student marks the work as final in <strong>AIS2</strong>. This final version will be automatically sent to the<br />

control <strong>of</strong> originality. The result <strong>of</strong> the control will be electronically available for the tutor.<br />

1. Electronical registration <strong>of</strong> <strong>Diploma</strong> <strong>Thesis</strong> <strong>into</strong> AIS<br />

- sign in AIS using your username and password in application VSE017- go to Study<br />

evidence – Theses, click on the “runner” and choose <strong>Thesis</strong><br />

- record your <strong>Diploma</strong> thesis in PDF format, from computer or the USB device, by<br />

using mark “green plus”. Confirm by<br />

. Attachments, if there are some, are added<br />

by choosing Attachments, after clicking on the “runner” .<br />

2. Add abstracts (Abstracts, texts, attributes)<br />

- click on the “runner” , choose Abstracts, texts, attributes and fill in the number<br />

<strong>of</strong> pages<br />

- choose the language EN, than click on the pencil , new window will appear where<br />

you will copy abstract in English language form the <strong>Diploma</strong> <strong>Thesis</strong> (can use ctrl c a<br />

ctrl v) than confirm by .<br />

- choose the language SJ, and add the abstract in Slovak language in the same way<br />

- choose Texts, click on the pencil , fill in 6 keywords from <strong>Diploma</strong> <strong>Thesis</strong> and<br />

confirm by .<br />

- finally confirm by the whole window Abstracts, texts, attributes<br />

3. License agreement registration and result <strong>of</strong> the test <strong>of</strong> originality<br />

- click on the “runner” , choose License agreement registration, choose one <strong>of</strong><br />

the manner <strong>of</strong> making School work accessible and confirm by .


4. Confirming the <strong>Thesis</strong> as final.<br />

- click on the “runner” , choose Mark as final, right after this step your <strong>Diploma</strong><br />

<strong>Thesis</strong> is sent to the control <strong>of</strong> originality. You can check the state <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Thesis</strong> in the<br />

column State (if you are set in Study evidence - These - <strong>Thesis</strong> - you can move with<br />

courser form left to the right). If there is “test <strong>of</strong> originality”, you can print it out by<br />

using the “runner” .<br />

Attention: do not forget to fill in the number <strong>of</strong> pages, abstract in EL, SL- just after these<br />

steps you can mark <strong>Thesis</strong> as final<br />

5. Submission <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Diploma</strong> <strong>Thesis</strong> at the Study Department<br />

- submit one printed and bound <strong>Thesis</strong>, one copy in spiral binding, 3 copies <strong>of</strong> License<br />

agreement and the copy <strong>of</strong> <strong>Thesis</strong> assignment (identical with the original in bound <strong>Thesis</strong>) at<br />

the Study Department on a stated date<br />

6. Opinion <strong>of</strong> the tutor and opponent, you can print from AIS.<br />
