Instructions on submission of Diploma Thesis into AIS2
Diploma Thesis Assignment
Sign the „Diploma Thesis Assignment“ printed from AIS2 system, have it sign to
your tutor and to the Head of the Department/Clinic
Approval of the final version of the Diploma Thesis has to be signed by the tutor
in the pertinent part of Assignment, before printing, binding and registration into
AIS
Signed „Diploma Thesis Assignment“ is an essential part of the printed form of
Diploma Thesis, add scanned copy to the electronic version. Do not forget to
submit one copy of Assignment at the Study Department
It is necessary to put the Diploma Thesis code on the cover of the printed and
bound form of Diploma Thesis. You can find it in AIS, go to the Study evidence –
Theses, click on the “runner” and choose Thesis. The code contains
approximately 36 characters – therefore it is necessary to make the column wider
to see the whole code.
Registration of electronic version of the Diploma Thesis
Diploma Thesis must be in PDF format, enabling to obtain text information, must not be
protected from being read, printed and electronic form must be identical.
Submission of the Diploma Thesis is done in AIS2. After you fill in the necessary
information, the AIS2 system automatically generates the “License agreement”, where
student- author, determines the manner of accessibility and use of his work. Afterwards the
student marks the work as final in AIS2. This final version will be automatically sent to the
control of originality. The result of the control will be electronically available for the tutor.
1. Electronical registration of Diploma Thesis into AIS
- sign in AIS using your username and password in application VSE017- go to Study
evidence – Theses, click on the “runner” and choose Thesis
- record your Diploma thesis in PDF format, from computer or the USB device, by
using mark “green plus”. Confirm by
. Attachments, if there are some, are added
by choosing Attachments, after clicking on the “runner” .
2. Add abstracts (Abstracts, texts, attributes)
- click on the “runner” , choose Abstracts, texts, attributes and fill in the number
of pages
- choose the language EN, than click on the pencil , new window will appear where
you will copy abstract in English language form the Diploma Thesis (can use ctrl c a
ctrl v) than confirm by .
- choose the language SJ, and add the abstract in Slovak language in the same way
- choose Texts, click on the pencil , fill in 6 keywords from Diploma Thesis and
confirm by .
- finally confirm by the whole window Abstracts, texts, attributes
3. License agreement registration and result of the test of originality
- click on the “runner” , choose License agreement registration, choose one of
the manner of making School work accessible and confirm by .

4. Confirming the Thesis as final.
- click on the “runner” , choose Mark as final, right after this step your Diploma
Thesis is sent to the control of originality. You can check the state of the Thesis in the
column State (if you are set in Study evidence - These - Thesis - you can move with
courser form left to the right). If there is “test of originality”, you can print it out by
using the “runner” .
Attention: do not forget to fill in the number of pages, abstract in EL, SL- just after these
steps you can mark Thesis as final
5. Submission of the Diploma Thesis at the Study Department
- submit one printed and bound Thesis, one copy in spiral binding, 3 copies of License
agreement and the copy of Thesis assignment (identical with the original in bound Thesis) at
the Study Department on a stated date
6. Opinion of the tutor and opponent, you can print from AIS.
