The DAAM (Data Acquisition Alarm Monitor) System allows pilots to easily and<br />
accurately record <strong>trend</strong> data. Once <strong>the</strong> pre-determ<strong>in</strong>ed cruise conditions are achieved,<br />
<strong>the</strong> pilot starts <strong>the</strong> <strong>trend</strong><strong>in</strong>g process at <strong>the</strong> press <strong>of</strong> a button. The DAAM System <strong>the</strong>n<br />
takes a simultaneous snapshot <strong>of</strong> all <strong>in</strong>puts, aver<strong>age</strong>d over a 15 second period. The<br />
DAAM System effectively elim<strong>in</strong>ates both manual record<strong>in</strong>g errors, and paper to<br />
electronic data entry errors, giv<strong>in</strong>g you accurate <strong>trend</strong> data records.<br />
Once stored, <strong>the</strong> <strong>trend</strong> data can be easily downloaded by ma<strong>in</strong>tenance personnel.<br />
Us<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong> DAAM Trend S<strong>of</strong>tware, accurate reports are able to be viewed and pr<strong>in</strong>ted.<br />
Additionally, <strong>the</strong> data can be exported to <strong>the</strong> Pratt & Whitney ECTM program.<br />

Exceedance Alarms<br />
• Visual and Audio alert <strong>of</strong> exceedances<br />
• Dur<strong>in</strong>g an exceedance, data from all <strong>in</strong>puts is captured at high speed and stored<br />
permanently for later analysis.<br />
• Alarm history with peak value, duration and timestamp available on <strong>the</strong> Cockpit<br />
Display Unit<br />
• Exceedances can be analysed <strong>in</strong> detail with <strong>the</strong> DAAM System S<strong>of</strong>tware.<br />
• Over 100 exceedance alarms stored before download required. Visual alert when<br />
exceedance memory is 75% full.<br />
• Pilot accountability by personal <strong>in</strong>fra-red key-fob.<br />
The user-friendly system alerts <strong>the</strong> pilot to any measured <strong>in</strong>put exceed<strong>in</strong>g pre-set limits,<br />
allow<strong>in</strong>g immediate action to be taken to correct <strong>the</strong> exceedance. When an exceedance<br />
alarm does occur, <strong>the</strong> pilot is able to <strong>in</strong>stantly silence <strong>the</strong> audible alarm, however, this<br />
event will be logged as a pilot acknowledgement <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> system for later review.<br />
