registration time guidelines. 

ARRIVAL PROCEDURES 

1. If you plan to arrive by plane or bus, and if we have received your travel plans information, you will be met at the airport/bus station. The “Travel Plans Arrival 

to Academy” form can be found online on the Arts Academy Parent Resource Center section of the Interlochen website. Please complete this online form even 

if you plan to arrive by car. Students traveling alone by plane or bus may, if absolutely necessary, check in on Thursday, August 30 after 5:00 p.m. 

2. When you arrive on campus, proceed immediately to the Liberal Arts Rotunda for REGISTRATION. Once you have completed the entire registration process, you 

will be issued a key to your room. If you arrive when registration is not open, proceed to any residence hall and you will be guided to your correct assignment. 

Please follow the registration process as noted on the registration schedule. 

3. To avoid congestion around the residence halls and central campus, please park vehicles in lots "A" through "L" after luggage has been removed. Please be 

aware of, and cautious around, any and all signs, barriers and construction equipment on campus. 

STUDENT IDS and UNIFORM 

Students should begin wearing ID badges as soon as they are issued. The Academy uniform or other neat attire should be worn on Friday, Saturday and Sunday of 

opening weekend. Student ID badges are required at all times and for all events: meals, auditions, classes, etc. 

SCHOLARSHOP 

The Scholarshop is located at the campus center and it stocks school supplies, greeting cards, snacks, convenience items, Interlochen clothing and gifts. It also houses 

the Music and Textbook Store. All items may be charged to the student's account, bankcards (VISA, Master Card, Discover and American Express) or paid for in cash.
