tool boxes and assorted tools.<br />

• Larceny from motor vehicle, Nevin Road, between<br />

6 p.m. Jan. 17 and 6 p.m. Jan. 18. Someone<br />

stole a license plate from the victim’s car while it<br />

was parked at his house. Nothing else was stolen.<br />

• Larceny, Arbor Crest Court, between midnight<br />

and 10 a.m. Jan. 17. Someone stole hydrocodone<br />

and Xanax prescription pills from the<br />

victim’s house.<br />

• Larceny, North Tryon Street, Jan. 17 at 3:45<br />

p.m. Someone stole the victim’s Bank of America<br />

debit card at the Cook Out restaurant.<br />

• Larceny, East W.T. Harris Boulevard, about<br />

3:10 p.m. Jan. 17. Someone stole $779.94 in Bluetooth<br />

headsets from the AT&T store.<br />

• Assault, Old Concord Road, between 8 and<br />

8:12 a.m. Jan. 18. The victim and the suspect got<br />

into an argument, when the suspect pushed the<br />

victim in the chest and to the ground.<br />

• Larceny from vehicle, Wexford Meadows<br />

Lane, Jan. 18 at 5:30 a.m. Someone smashed the<br />

right rear-passenger window of the victim’s vehicle,<br />

which was parked at the Wexford Meadows<br />

Apartments, and stole a cell phone and charger.<br />

• Larceny from vehicle, Langham Court, between<br />

3:20 and 3:39 a.m. Jan. 18. Someone broke into the<br />

victim’s vehicle by cutting the canvass top.<br />

• Assault, North Tryon Street, between 10 and<br />

10:30 p.m. Jan. 17. A woman said three suspects<br />

lured her to a business with the possibility of<br />

getting her job back. At the back of the business<br />

near the dressing rooms, the suspect hit and<br />

kicked the woman in the head, face and body.<br />

• Larceny from vehicle, North Tryon Street, between<br />

5:15 and 7:45 p.m. Jan. 17. Someone stole<br />

a license plate off of the victim’s vehicle while it<br />

was parked at the AMC <strong>University</strong> Lanes bowling<br />

alley.<br />

• Larceny, <strong>University</strong> Center Boulevard, between<br />

8:30 a.m. and 10:40 p.m. Jan. 12. Someone<br />

broke into the victim’s vehicle by breaking<br />

the lock and took an Apple MacBook Pro laptop.<br />

• Larceny, Cedarhurst Drive, between 1:30 and<br />

9:45 p.m. Jan. 17. Someone stole gold jewelry<br />

and an iPod from the residence.<br />

• Assault, Misty Wood Drive, about 10 p.m.<br />

Jan. 17. The victim said her boyfriend struck her<br />

in the back of the head. Medic treated the woman<br />

for minor injuries.<br />

• Hit and run, Back Creek Church Road, Jan. 17 at<br />

8:37 p.m. The victim was driving her vehicle when<br />

another vehicle struck hers and drove away.<br />

• Burglary, Stetson Drive, between 4:30 p.m.<br />

Jan. 16 and 6:55 a.m. Jan. 18. Someone broke<br />

into Auto Tune Total Car Care and stole $140.<br />

• Larceny from vehicle, Taymouth Lane, between<br />

5 p.m. Jan. 17 and 7:30 a.m. Jan. 18.<br />

Someone entered the victim’s vehicle and stole<br />

a Canon point-and-shoot camera.<br />

• Felony burglary, Mantario Drive, between 9<br />

p.m. Jan. 17 and 6 a.m. Jan. 18. Someone entered<br />

a vehicle inside a garage and stole a GPS system,<br />

a mountain bike and eight cans of beer.<br />

• Larceny from vehicle, Forty Niner Avenue, between<br />

10 p.m. Jan. 12 and 5 a.m. Jan. 13. Someone<br />

broke into the victim’s vehicle and stole a car stereo.<br />

• Assault, Azalea Hills Drive, Jan. 18 at 2:17<br />

p.m. The suspect slapped the victim in the face.<br />

• Drug violations, Nugget Court, between<br />

5 and 6:31 p.m. Police found the suspect with<br />

marijuana. The suspect admitted to using it and<br />

having seeds and a joint on a table while he was<br />

the only person in the residence. He admitted to<br />

having more marijuana in the residence.<br />

• Vandalism, Ashley Lake Court, between 8<br />

p.m. Jan. 17 and 11 a.m. Jan. 18. Someone keyed<br />

the passenger-side door of the victim’s vehicle<br />

while it was parked in Mallard Creek Village.<br />

• Vandalism, Ashley lake Court, between 8<br />

p.m. Jan. 17 and 1 a.m. Jan. 18. Someone keyed<br />

the passenger-side door of the victim’s vehicle.<br />

• Vandalism, Chepstow Court, Jan. 18 at 6:04<br />

p.m. Someone smashed the victim’s mailbox with<br />

his fist, leaving a dent in the box and knocking it<br />

off the post.<br />

• Vandalism, East Arbors Drive, Jan. 15 at 7:50<br />

p.m. The suspect damaged the mirror in the restroom<br />

of Hickory Tavern. The suspect was intoxicated<br />

and lied to officers about being underage.<br />

Charlotte’s Police and Public Safety Department:<br />

Jan. 13<br />

• Intoxicated student, Johnson & Wales <strong>University</strong>,<br />

Jan. 9 at 3:25 a.m. A police officer from<br />

another agency contacted Police and Public<br />

Safety about an intoxicated, unconscious person<br />

in his vehicle. The person was a UNC Charlotte<br />

student.<br />

• Harassment, PVA lot 5, Jan. 12 at 3:45 p.m.<br />

An acquaintance harassed the victim over personal<br />

property.<br />

• Vandalism, PVA lot 21, between 6 and 7:15<br />

p.m. Jan. 12. Someone smashed the rear-passen-<br />
