• Larceny from motor vehicle, North Tryon
Street, Jan. 10 at 4 p.m. Someone stole two steel
tool boxes and assorted tools.
• Larceny from motor vehicle, Nevin Road, between
6 p.m. Jan. 17 and 6 p.m. Jan. 18. Someone
stole a license plate from the victim’s car while it
was parked at his house. Nothing else was stolen.
• Larceny, Arbor Crest Court, between midnight
and 10 a.m. Jan. 17. Someone stole hydrocodone
and Xanax prescription pills from the
victim’s house.
• Larceny, North Tryon Street, Jan. 17 at 3:45
p.m. Someone stole the victim’s Bank of America
debit card at the Cook Out restaurant.
• Larceny, East W.T. Harris Boulevard, about
3:10 p.m. Jan. 17. Someone stole $779.94 in Bluetooth
headsets from the AT&T store.
• Assault, Old Concord Road, between 8 and
8:12 a.m. Jan. 18. The victim and the suspect got
into an argument, when the suspect pushed the
victim in the chest and to the ground.
• Larceny from vehicle, Wexford Meadows
Lane, Jan. 18 at 5:30 a.m. Someone smashed the
right rear-passenger window of the victim’s vehicle,
which was parked at the Wexford Meadows
Apartments, and stole a cell phone and charger.
• Larceny from vehicle, Langham Court, between
3:20 and 3:39 a.m. Jan. 18. Someone broke into the
victim’s vehicle by cutting the canvass top.
• Assault, North Tryon Street, between 10 and
10:30 p.m. Jan. 17. A woman said three suspects
lured her to a business with the possibility of
getting her job back. At the back of the business
near the dressing rooms, the suspect hit and
kicked the woman in the head, face and body.
• Larceny from vehicle, North Tryon Street, between
5:15 and 7:45 p.m. Jan. 17. Someone stole
a license plate off of the victim’s vehicle while it
was parked at the AMC University Lanes bowling
alley.
• Larceny, University Center Boulevard, between
8:30 a.m. and 10:40 p.m. Jan. 12. Someone
broke into the victim’s vehicle by breaking
the lock and took an Apple MacBook Pro laptop.
• Larceny, Cedarhurst Drive, between 1:30 and
9:45 p.m. Jan. 17. Someone stole gold jewelry
and an iPod from the residence.
• Assault, Misty Wood Drive, about 10 p.m.
Jan. 17. The victim said her boyfriend struck her
in the back of the head. Medic treated the woman
for minor injuries.
• Hit and run, Back Creek Church Road, Jan. 17 at
8:37 p.m. The victim was driving her vehicle when
another vehicle struck hers and drove away.
• Burglary, Stetson Drive, between 4:30 p.m.
Jan. 16 and 6:55 a.m. Jan. 18. Someone broke
into Auto Tune Total Car Care and stole $140.
• Larceny from vehicle, Taymouth Lane, between
5 p.m. Jan. 17 and 7:30 a.m. Jan. 18.
Someone entered the victim’s vehicle and stole
a Canon point-and-shoot camera.
• Felony burglary, Mantario Drive, between 9
p.m. Jan. 17 and 6 a.m. Jan. 18. Someone entered
a vehicle inside a garage and stole a GPS system,
a mountain bike and eight cans of beer.
• Larceny from vehicle, Forty Niner Avenue, between
10 p.m. Jan. 12 and 5 a.m. Jan. 13. Someone
broke into the victim’s vehicle and stole a car stereo.
• Assault, Azalea Hills Drive, Jan. 18 at 2:17
p.m. The suspect slapped the victim in the face.
• Drug violations, Nugget Court, between
5 and 6:31 p.m. Police found the suspect with
marijuana. The suspect admitted to using it and
having seeds and a joint on a table while he was
the only person in the residence. He admitted to
having more marijuana in the residence.
• Vandalism, Ashley Lake Court, between 8
p.m. Jan. 17 and 11 a.m. Jan. 18. Someone keyed
the passenger-side door of the victim’s vehicle
while it was parked in Mallard Creek Village.
• Vandalism, Ashley lake Court, between 8
p.m. Jan. 17 and 1 a.m. Jan. 18. Someone keyed
the passenger-side door of the victim’s vehicle.
• Vandalism, Chepstow Court, Jan. 18 at 6:04
p.m. Someone smashed the victim’s mailbox with
his fist, leaving a dent in the box and knocking it
off the post.
• Vandalism, East Arbors Drive, Jan. 15 at 7:50
p.m. The suspect damaged the mirror in the restroom
of Hickory Tavern. The suspect was intoxicated
and lied to officers about being underage.

Jan. 13
• Intoxicated student, Johnson & Wales University,
Jan. 9 at 3:25 a.m. A police officer from
another agency contacted Police and Public
Safety about an intoxicated, unconscious person
in his vehicle. The person was a UNC Charlotte
student.
• Harassment, PVA lot 5, Jan. 12 at 3:45 p.m.
An acquaintance harassed the victim over personal
property.
• Vandalism, PVA lot 21, between 6 and 7:15
p.m. Jan. 12. Someone smashed the rear-passen-
