With the Zfx System, there’s a wide range of
restorative options at your fingertips for designing
abutments, crowns and bridges. Intuitive Zfx
software allows you to design restorations from the
crown down, just as you normally would, resulting
in an ideal restoration. The Zfx Scan III offers
precision, reliability and processing speed through
a user-friendly interface. This system, designed
with an open architecture, allows you to output a
standard .stl file for flexibility in computer-aided
manufacturing of the restoration. You add the
finishing touches.
Zfx Dental CAD Design Software
Once the scan data is imported, the Zfx software
guides you step-by-step through the process.
The design begins with the crown and works down
to the coping or abutment as needed. This design
flow gives you the option to control each detail,
and you can tailor the system to suit your needs.

Zfx SCAN III
The Zfx Scan III is an open-system optical scanner developed specifically for the
dental industry. Using the Zfx scanner, articulated models are easily and quickly
scanned and then seamlessly imported into the Zfx Dental CAD Design Software.
As with any CAD/CAM technology, scan accuracy is critical. The Zfx Scan III
incorporates multiple technologies that optimize precision.*
Twin-Camera Technology: Yields high data accuracy compared to single-camera
scanners. The 3D scanning module helps produce a crisp image of the prep margin.
White Light Scanning: Produces clear (noise-free) 3D data, an improvement over
conventional laser light absorption/reflection characteristics.
Deep 3D Scanning Area: Captures critical details of complex models by featuring
a narrow angle between the two cameras.
