<strong>RUD</strong>’s new <strong>Chain</strong> <strong>Monitoring</strong> <strong>System</strong>, or <strong>CMS</strong>, is the first system of its kind to utilises the proven<br />
Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology in Tyre Protection <strong>Chain</strong> applications.<br />
The <strong>CMS</strong> is specifically designed to enable Tyre Protection <strong>Chain</strong> technicians to<br />
electronically capture live service and performance data on-site, then provide<br />
valuable tailored reporting to mine and quarry operators immediately, giving<br />
them all they need to make effective decisions on one of their most<br />
valuable assets when they need it the most – right now!<br />
How does it work?<br />
The <strong>CMS</strong> consists of an electronic data chip imbedded<br />
into a specially designed link in each Tyre Protection<br />
<strong>Chain</strong>. Each time a <strong>RUD</strong> technician installs or services<br />
a Tyre Protection <strong>Chain</strong>, the chip is updated by a handheld<br />
device. This hand-held device also synchronises<br />
all inspection, maintenance and performance data for<br />
each chain back to the online database, where reports<br />
can be immediately provided to mine and quarry<br />
operators.<br />
What can you track?<br />
• <strong>Chain</strong> specific data - type, size, part number and date of<br />
manufacture.<br />
• Machine specific data - location, vehicle<br />
details and operation hours.<br />
• Customer specific data - your<br />
company name and site<br />
details.<br />
• Performance data - chain<br />

the last service and<br />
details of any wear.<br />
