OxCERT – 2<br />
Respond to incidents detected by internal and<br />
external systems and users.<br />
Work with <strong>IT</strong> support staff to ensure that threats<br />
are adequately contained pending satisfactory<br />
resolution.<br />
Tier 2 security helpdesk support to <strong>IT</strong>SS and other<br />
University staff<br />
Liaison with external bodies eg law enforcement, Janet’s CSIRT, other<br />
CSIRTs/CERTs<br />
Inform the University and its members of current threats and<br />

connection to Janet gives you an extremely reliable and high bandwidth network<br />
