Technical Specifications

A simple design concept.

The compressed air is pre-cooled

as it enters the dryer by thermally

mixing it with the cooler outgoing

air. It is then cooled further as

refrigerant is directly expanded

with the compressed air in the

evaporator until the desired dew

point is reached.

Condensed water vapour is then

separated from the air stream and

removed from the system

automatically.

Finally the cool, DRY air is

reheated by thermally mixing it

with the incoming warm, moist air,

raising its temperature so avoiding

external pipe sweating.

A Wealth of Design Features.

• Pre-cooler, Re-heater – reduces the load on

the refrigeration system. Reheats the air so

avoiding external pipe sweating.

• Flooded Evaporator Design – ensures highly

efficient heat transfer and the capability to

produce a near constant dew point under

varying load conditions.

• Integral Water Separator – removes the

condensed water efficiently and reliably.

• Water Cooled condensers – built into the

package and uses high efficiency extended

surfaces for compact design.

• Semi Hermetic Refrigeration Compressor –

with integral protective devices.

• Automatic Hot Gas Bypass Valve – providing

a near constant dew point at all load

conditions.

• Sophisticated Control – Microprocessor

controlled as standard with continuous dew

point display. A status report listing the 8

most recent occurrences, whilst a second

report memorises all sensor readings at alarm

intervention, for easy fault diagnosis.

All indicated data refers to DIN ISO 7183. All models supplied with refrigerant R404a and for operation up to 10 barg. 50 Hz models supplied for

400/3/50 power supply. 60 HZ models also available. IP rating IP54
