Implementing Technological
Advances to Own the Night
July 25 – 27, 2011 | Marriott Hotel Washington, DC
TM
Dear Colleague,
It’s an exciting time to be part of the night vision community!
With a number of developmental programs currently being funded by US military, as well as
revolutionary technology advances happening in the private sector, there is a new hunger for
next generation night vision capabilities.
For that reason, I am very happy to announce that I will once again be chairing IDGA’s Annual
Night Vision Systems this July. Over the past five years, this conference has developed into the
premier annual event for the military night vision community to gather and discuss the
future of the industry. And the 2011 program promises to be our best yet!
IDGA’s 6th Annual Night Vision Systems is the only place to:
• Learn from military directors and PMs, such as Dr. Fenner Milton and Dr. Nibir Dhar, about
their programs, their challenges, and how you can help
• Analyze future requirements and trends for night vision goggles, sights, cameras, displays,
and more
• Hear feedback from operators on how night vision equipment is performing in theater and
where their most pressing capability needs lie
• Discover the latest technology advances, including extended spectral band (such as SWIR)
sensors, and what is on the horizon
• Understand current export regulations and how to make sure you are compliant
This year, we will be assessing cutting edge developments in overcoming SWAP challenges, lowcost
thermal imaging, wafer level packaging, miniature power sources, micro displays,
optics and how they will impact operator system enhancements such as image fusion, clip-on
modular features (versus integrated system optimized functionality), and much more!
I highly encourage you to attend this important 3-day event and return to the office with firsthand
knowledge and insight from the most important stakeholders and decision makers
in the community.
Register yourself and your team today at www.nightvisionevent.com or by calling 1-800- 882-8684.
I look forward to seeing you in July!
