Section 3 Installation of the <strong>Sampler</strong><br />
Components inside the booster pump enclosure:<br />
A - Pump motor<br />
B - Pump head (enclosing the Teflon gears)<br />
C - Liquid level detection switch (prevents “dry” operation<br />
of pump)<br />
D - Electronic control box (to interface the pump with the<br />
<strong>6100CR</strong> <strong>Sampler</strong>)<br />
E - Pressure relief assembly<br />
The pump has no lift capability, so the sample line source must<br />
have enough pressure to deliver liquid to the pump inlet. Pump<br />
output is controlled by the pressure relief assembly to ensure<br />
performance and long pump life. Power for the pump is supplied<br />
from a separate 120 VAC grounded outlet.<br />
The booster pump is shipped with instructions for its installation<br />
on the <strong>6100CR</strong>.<br />
