Invitation to the
16th Kronshof-special: 10-13 June, 2011
Sports competition (WorldRanking-eligible) for Icelandic horses, open to all riders, based on rules
within IPO 2011 and FIPO 2011, approved by the sports and youth directors of IPZV e.V.

Registration / Entries:
In General all horses and riders must be registered
with IPZV. For foreign riders exceptions are being
made in order to keep the registration simple.
Please send an email to info@kronshof.de with the
following information: Name of the rider, name of
the horse, prefered accommodation of the horse
(paddock, box), riders date of birth, the tests the
rider/horse will participate and the starting hand for
each test. The fees will be charged at the
tournament and don’t need to be transfered in
advance.
The registration deadline is the 23.05.2011.
Late / changed entries:
Until 2 hours before scheduled test at twice the
original registration fee.

Camping without electricity (tents, campers) free of
charge. Showers available.
Paddock area for all horses (individually fenced-off

Liability:
Riders and horses are 100 percent liable in their
own right. Participation at own risk. All horses must
be insured accordingly, must come from a healthy
stock and must have been vaccinated according to
IPO/FIPO 2009. The organizers/hosts/judges
preclude any liability based existing laws. Riders
and the horses‘ owners are fully liable based on §
833/834 BGB. The riders and/or owners remain the
horses‘ custodians throughout the entire stay at
icehorse (arrival to departure), based on § 831
BGB. Parents need to enter their written consent of
these rules for their under-age children

Kronshof-Biathlon: „Ride + Run“
1. Challenge: Tölt-special
2. Challenge: Rider has to run a 1,000 m distance
on the ovaltrack
Description, Tölt-special:
1st section: any tempo tölt
2nd section: change of reins, tölt slalom on long
straights
Age- and gender-specific judging/grading!
Tölt-a-minute
1. Challenge: 1 lap in working tempo tölt (200
meters) in exactly one minute
2. Challenge: 1 lap in medium tempo tölt (200 m) in
45 sec
Riders may not carry any watched, outside help /
interference will lead to an automatic DQ
Kronshof-Rallye
Riding path of up to 5 km in length, riders compete
in teams of two, several challenges have to be
solved along the way. (Children only under adult
supervision.) Please name 2nd riders on your
registration forms!!!
Champagne Tölt
(late entries without penalty fees)
Rider tölts his/her horse across the wooden fino
strip, judges are blindfolded and grade riders/horses
based on the audible beat. K.O. system.
Boots/weights not permitted in this test!
Headcollar class
Rider walks his/her horse onto the track (no riding in
this test), horse wears headcollar only. Several
challenges might be called for by announcer/judges:
Walk, trot or tölt, halt, pause, standing still,
backward steps, jumping (40 cm max.), slalom
etc.
Pleasure-Tölt
Artistic and riding skills are graded as well as the
harmony between horse and rider. Five challenged,
e.g. slalom tölt, tölt across a fino strip, maintaining
exact speed etc., may be demanded.
Show, dressage arena
Ridden performance, teams allowed, special
costume prize
Minimum of participants: Each of these special tests
must have at least 5 registered entrants at
registration deadline or will be canceled
„LK“ system: German standard only, LK 1
corresponds with the former „Sport A“ standard in
pre-qualifications = 6.50 in tölt, 6.30 in four-gait and
6.20 in five-gait. No restrictions in LK 2-7 for foreign
starters, proof of qualification required for LK 1
