About Air Cargo Middle East & India
The air cargo industry in the Middle East and India continues to
outperform a recovering world market, with IATA reporting 10% growth
in freight tonne kilometres within the Middle East and 5.8% in
Asia/Pacifi c between January and August 2007, compared to the
same period in 2006.
These high growth levels are expected to continue unabated in
the future, with countries such as the United Arab Emirates, Saudi
Arabia and India investing billions of dollars in major infrastructure
developments. Among the ambitious projects currently underway is
Dubai World Central airport, which is expected to become the biggest
airfreight hub in the world, capable of handling a massive 12 million
tonnes of cargo annually.
Air Cargo Middle East & India provides detailed information, insight
and analysis to airlines, freighter forwarders and sales agents throughout
this booming region, in addition to other key markets throughout the
world. Through its targeted editorial, the magazine helps senior
decision makers to keep themselves updated on important market
developments, allowing them to make informed decisions that directly
impact their company’s bottom line.
With a strictly controlled circulation of 6,000 copies each month,
which reach 18,600 readers in the region, Air Cargo Middle East &
India is the magazine of choice for advertisers to promote themselves
in this lucrative and highly dynamic market.
As part of the ITP Transport Publishing Division, Air Cargo Middle
East & India is fully supported by three market-leading publications
– Aviation Business, Logistics Middle East and Sea Freight Middle
East – which effectively cover the entire spectrum of supply chain
operations, from transportation by road, sea or air to warehousing,
consolidation and distribution.
Last year, the division also organised the inaugural Supply Chain and
Transport Awards (SCATA) in Dubai – a hugely successful celebration
of the industry’s phenomenal achievements over the past year.
