About Jamia Hamdard
Jamia Hamdard is a NAAC accredited (re-accredited in 2011) category ‘A’ university,
granted the deemed to be university status by the Ministry of Human Resource
Development on 10 th of May, 1989. Located at a prime location in South Delhi, the
university houses eight faculties, a medical college, hospital, and centers including the
DBT supported Bioinformatics Infrastructure Facility. Over the years, the university has
been recognized as a premier center of higher education and research in health
sciences, and attracts students from within India and abroad.
Bioelectronics and Instrumentation Program
M.Sc. Bioelectronics and Instrumentation is an innovative program supported by <strong>UGC</strong>
which is aimed at integrating the domain knowledge of engineering and life sciences
to address and understand the various aspects of instruments used for biological
applications. The aim of this conference is to promote further growth and
development of the field by imparting knowledge to participants from resource
persons drawn from academia, health sciences and industry.

Submission of abstracts
Research papers/posters are invited from interested research scholars, faculty
and scientists. The abstract of the paper/poster should not exceed 250 words.
The abstract should be submitted by e-mail as an attached word file to
saleemjaved70@yahoo.co.in or sjaved@jamaiahamdard.ac.in on or before
December 20, 2012. The abstract should include the names of all the
contributing authors with their affiliation. The abstract should contain
statement of the problem, procedure, result and conclusion without
subheadings. Use Times New Roman font size 11 with single line spacing and
left 1.4’’, right 1.00”, top 1.3” and bottom 1.00” margins. The theme of the
paper, selected from the list, should be mentioned.
Submission of registration form
Filled-in registration form accompanied with DD of the required amount
should be submitted on or before December 20, 2012. In case of research
student, the registration form should be forwarded by the supervisor.
