MINISTRY OF PERSONNEL, PUBLIC GRIEVANCES & PENSIONS
With a view to monitoring the progressive use of Hindi in official work, Hindi Section
of the Ministry inspected 12 sections during the year. The Lal Bahadur Shashtri
National Administrative Academy was also inspected from 14 July, 2008 to 17
July, 2008 for monitoring the progressive use of Hindi. Quarterly Reports received
from various quarters are reviewed in Hindi Section and the progress made in the
progressive use of Hindi is discussed at length in the quarterly meetings of the
Official Language Implementation Committee of the Ministry and remedial measures
taken to remove the shortcomings.
