<strong>Badger</strong> Middle School will<br />
continue to utilize a<br />
research-based content<br />
standards mastery program called Study Island. Your child can access<br />
Study Island anywhere that Internet access is available. This program<br />
will serve to benefit and help prepare all children for the Ohio<br />
Achievement Tests which will be administered in late April <strong>2012</strong>. If you<br />

<strong>Joseph</strong> <strong>Badger</strong> School is interested in meeting the<br />
needs <strong>of</strong> children with disabilities and is<br />
participating in an effort to locate, identify, and<br />
evaluate all children in the community from birth<br />
through twenty-one years <strong>of</strong> age who may have<br />

Disabilities may include such conditions as hearing impairments, visual<br />
impairments, speech or language impairments, specific learning<br />
disabilities, emotional disturbances, autism, and traumatic brain injuries.<br />
Many unidentified children with disabilities are preschoolers. Parents<br />
may not be aware their child has a disability or that there are programs<br />
and services available.<br />

information collected will be held in strict confidence and released to<br />
others only with parent permission or as allowed by law. The school<br />
district’s policies and procedures for special education are also available<br />
for review by contacting Mrs. Williams.
