Meeting called to order at 7:30 p.m. by President Kehoe, followed by the Pledge of
Allegiance to the flag.
NOTICE OF MEETING
Notice of this meeting was provided to the Gloucester County Times and to the Clerks
of the governing bodies and filed as required by the Open Public Meetings Law.

VISITORS
Mr. Kline recognized the Marching Band for their awards from Band Cavalcade.
Energy Education presented The Energy Pacesetter Award to the District.
The new Middle School and High School Teachers and Instructional Aides introduced
themselves to the Board of Education.
The Board of Education recessed at 8:00 p.m.
The Board of Education reconvened at 8:20 p.m.
VISITOR
Ron Ippolite talked to the Board of Education about re-implementing the Freshman
Sports Program.

EXECUTIVE SESSION - PERSONNEL
Motion by Blackburn, second by Lewis, that the Board of Education authorize a meeting
closed to the public at 8:50 p.m., for the purpose of Personnel for approximately five
minutes.

PERSONNEL AGENDA
Motion by DiGiovacchino, second by Battisti, that the Board of Education approve the
folowing as per the Superintendent’s recommendation:
CHANGE IN LEVEL & SALARY FOR 2010-2011
Approved a change in level and salary for the 2010-2011 school year for Allison Shelley
to step/level BA+15/2, $45,087.00, retro effective date of September 1, 2010.
CHANGE IN LEVEL & SALARY FOR 2010-2011
Approved a change in level and salary for the 2010-2011 school year for Takiyah
Dumas to step/level MA+15/7, $55,687.00, retro effective date of September 1, 2010.
CHANGE IN LEVEL & SALARY FOR 2010-2011
Approved a change in level and salary for the 2010-2011 school year for Michael Schiff
to step/level MA+30/6, $53,140.00, retro effective date of September 1, 2010.
CHANGE IN LEVEL & SALARY FOR 2010-2011
Approved a change in level and salary for the 2010-2011 school year for Barbara Neal
to step/level BA+15/5, $48,625.00, retro effective date of September 1, 2010.
CHANGE IN SALARY FOR 2010-2011 FOR MIDDLE SCHOOL INSTRUCTIONAL
AIDE
Approved the change in salary for the 2010-2011 school year for Sharon Young to
$17,312.00, based on pro-rated weekly hours of 31 ¾ and 2 hours of volunteer time.
START DATE FOR HIGH SCHOOL SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER
Approved the start date of Robert Dacierno as a High School Special Education
teacher, effective October 1, 2010 to June 30, 2011.
SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS FOR THE 2010-2011 SCHOOL YEAR
Approved Heather L. Bryceland, Christopher Cartella, Starr Marz, Brian Meeney and
John Meiler, IV, as substitute teachers for the 2010-2011 school year, effective
September 28, 2010 through June 30, 2011, at the rate of $70.00 per day, $85.00 per
day after 20 days, which do not have to be consecutive.

SUBSTITUTE BUS DRIVERS/BUS AIDES FOR THE 2010-2011 SCHOOL YEAR
Approved the following substitute bus drivers/bus aides for the 2010-2011 school year,
at the following rates:
David Kinner–Effective September 29, 2010 through June 30, 2011
Donna Cama–Effective October 1, 2010 through June 30, 2011
Bus Drivers - $14.63 per hour Drive Time - $11.05 per hour Sit Time
Bus Aides - $10.10 per hour Drive Time - $7.55 per hour Sit Time
APPOINTMENT OF SUBSTITUTE FOR MATERNITY LEAVE FOR MIDDLE SCHOOL
SCIENCE TEACHER
Approved the appointment of Nicole Soderholm as a substitute Middle School science
teacher for a maternity leave for Mrs. Cohen, effective November 1, 2010 through June
30, 2011, at the rate of $221.17 per diem based on step/level BA/1, with no benefits.
HOMEBOUND INSTRUCTOR FOR 2010-2011 SCHOOL YEAR
Approved the following homebound instructor effective September 28, 2010 through
June 15, 2011, at the rate of $34.07 per hour:
