ThermoShell - REINFORCING MESH
A high quality coated glass fibre mesh for use with the Knauf External Wall Insulation system
ThermoShell (TS) - REINFORCING MESH should be trowel applied into the fresh render, leaving
it just below the surface of the render. All edges should be overlapped by a minimum of 100mm
to prevent surface cracking. There should be no straight joints within the mesh.
TS-REINFORCING MESH can be cut down to approximate 500mm x 300mm stress patches
and embedded above and below the angles of openings (ie windows/doors) to help prevent
stress cracking. This application is carried out prior to the reinforcing of the whole façade.
All ThermoShell products should be installed by an approved ThermoShell installer.

Handling and storage
TS-REINFORCING MESH is supplied per roll, wrapped or boxed dependent upon
quantities. Store uncompressed and in dry conditions.
