creation as well as management <strong>and</strong> conservation;<br />
region as well as board.<br />
Attention to l<strong>and</strong>scape in Western art <strong>and</strong> science appears in English<br />
l<strong>and</strong>scape garden since 17 th century, whereas attention to l<strong>and</strong>scape in<br />
East Asian art appears already from 11 th century. Yet Dutch has shown<br />
earlier appreciation of l<strong>and</strong>scape since 13 th century.<br />
