Dear All,
The world sport community has witnessed numerous
World and European championships, world cup and other
international tournaments excellently organized in our
country. The WAKO Kickboxing European
Championships 2010 starting on October also an example
to such legacy. It is not random, of course.
Day-to-day improvement of the nowadays Azerbaijani
sport ensures grounds for the world sport agencies to adopt
decisions on our country to host the most prestigious sports
events. All that signifies the highest attention paid to
Azerbaijani sport by the government and our esteemed
president Mr. Ilham Aliyev.
The prestigious sporting events play an important role in
strengthening of professional skills of the participants.
I am sure, our kickboxers will benefit from this event. At the same time, the WAKO
Kickboxing European Championships 2010 will introduce new talents, and reveal the
opportunities to identify perspectives for future development of this discipline.
The upcoming WAKO Kickboxing European Championships 2010 in Baku will be organized
with the support of Ministry of Youth and Sport of Azerbaijan Republic, National Olimpic
Committee and under the patronage of The President of Azerbaijan Republic Mr. Ilham
Aliyev. This support gives all the reasons to count that The European Championships 2010
will be conducted at the highest organizational level.
