The Ozark is a stylish, versatile ATV,
full of get-up and go! The electricstart,
single-cylinder, overhead cam
engine has a bore of 66mm and a
stroke of 72mm, which gives 246cc of
displacement.
The 29mm carburettor, large-capacity
airbox and tuned exhaust system all
contribute to the broad powerband,
with emphasis on mid-range torque.
The centrifugal automatic clutch works
with smooth-shifting, wide-ratio,
5-speed transmission, handy reverse
gear and a low-maintenance 2x4
shaft-drive system.
The independent front and swingarm
rear suspension provides 140mm
wheel travel which together with
206mm ground clearance gives a
comfortable ride over all types of
terrain. Dual hydraulic front disc brakes
have 160mm discs and single-piston
callipers. The rear brake is a semisealed,
cable-operated drum type.
The rear brake can conveniently be
set for parking.
As with the other utility models, the
Ozark has good carrying capacity; 20kg
on the front, 30kg on the rear and
330kg hitch capacity. It also comes
with a 4 litre storage box under the
seat for additional convenience.
