Delightful experience with Micky
Mehta - Thanks to the club
I used to see Micky Mehta on the TV with lots of
celebrities in Bombay and thanks to India Club,
we got the opportunity to meet him in person.
Meeting him and listening to him was a real
delight for me. He has a very practical
meaningful attitude for life and I gained a lot
from him. Spending 2 days with him and
learning his exercises in the water was great too.
Best Letter
His positive vibration with all the India Club
members was amazing. His teaching will be with
me throughout my life. According to him, be
positive, practical and most importantly, do one
good deed everyday and be focussed in life in
whatever we do. Three cheers for him! I wish he
can make more trips to the club and we all can
benefit with his mind and body knowledge.
Treat our mind and body as a temple.

Eid Celebration – Qawali Night
When I heard about “Eid Celebration –
Qawali Night”, I just could not resist
from attending, as this was something
I cannot afford to miss. I have always
noted that India Club has the art of
giving the best shot at any festive
events, from “Holi” to “Onam” and from
“Navratri” to “EID Celebrations”.
The entire ambience was changed to
suit the theme of music. Pleasant
weather, Outdoor setting under the
open sky, along with great music took
me to a different world, enabling my
mind to totally unwind. Toshi’s performance
was at its best, from “Raag” to
“Sufi”. The music filled the air with so
much of energy, that the guests were
on the floor dancing to the rhythm,
enjoying every beat of the music.
A big thanks to India club for all their
efforts and initiative to keep us
connected to our roots. I look forward
to many more such events, as such
musical events enhance our love for
music & bring synergy of both body &
mind.

Two great nights of Dandiya
Dhamaka!
The eagerly awaited, the most
popular dance festival - Dandiya Night
was amazing! It was awesome to see
everyone dressed in colourful costumes
- ghagra cholis with mirror work, etc.
All were mesmerized by the dancers
spinning to the choreographed tunes
with the colourful dance sticks! Each
one was in their own groups, enjoying
the fun, dancing to the latest re-mixes
and beats. The bright lights, the ethnic
wear, the ethnic jewelry, the loud music
added to the enthusiasm of the
crowds.
It was enthralling to see the youngsters
dance to the beat of the fusion music.
A troupe dancing to the traditional
Garba dance took the cake.
One and all enjoyed the evening.
