Intramural <strong>Sport</strong><br />
Programme<br />
If you want to play sport with friends, and<br />
to meet new people, our intramural sport<br />
programme allows you to form teams and<br />
play recre<strong>at</strong>ionally. The intramural sport<br />
programme is one of the most extensive in<br />
university sport, with eight sports on offer<br />
and over 2,000 participants. <strong>Sport</strong>s available<br />
are 11-a-side, five-a-side and seven-a-side<br />
football, rugby union, seven-a-side rugby,<br />
netball, mixed hockey and volleyball (3v3).<br />
There is a league and cup programme in<br />
these sports each academic year. For more<br />

Exercise Class<br />
Programme<br />
We offer a comprehensive range of exercise<br />
classes designed to provide you with the<br />
opportunity to particip<strong>at</strong>e in our exciting<br />
timetable without having to worry about<br />
your exercise background. Classes cover<br />
a full range of activities from aerobics and<br />
spin-cycling to yoga, pil<strong>at</strong>es and dance. The<br />
majority of classes are designed to ensure<br />
beginners through to advanced participants<br />
can <strong>at</strong>tend and work <strong>at</strong> a level most suited<br />
to their current level of fitness. For further<br />

<strong>Sport</strong>s Volunteering<br />
and Coaching<br />
You can gain valuable experience through<br />
volunteering, coaching, offici<strong>at</strong>ing, event<br />
management and administr<strong>at</strong>ion through<br />
the <strong>University</strong> <strong>Sport</strong>s Centre. You can<br />
benefit by working alongside qualified<br />
coaches and enhance your skills in<br />
leadership, teamwork and communic<strong>at</strong>ion.<br />
You will also be able to gain N<strong>at</strong>ional<br />
Governing Bodies qualific<strong>at</strong>ions in a range<br />
of sports to assist you in your volunteering.<br />
