BRISK Tábor a.s. is coming with a new series of rod-type glow plugs with a modified glow rod on the market. It is the company’s response to the continually extending segment of vehicles driven by diesel engines. The continuous development of this segment can be registered not only on the part of most leading car manufacturers, but also on the part of the manufacturers in the product range of which almost nobody of us would have tried to find a “diesel engine” several years ago. The low fuel consumption, low quantity of harmful emissions and a huge operating range of vehicles with diesel engines are nonnegligible advantages in comparison with the existing spark-ignition engines. Reduction of harmful emissions in the first seconds of the engine run, acceptable load of the electrical power supply circuit and the replacement interval as long as possible – these are other very important parameters which differ most among individual competing products.
