In honour of prof. dr. <strong>Cornelis</strong> <strong>Jakobs</strong>, who will reach<br />

emeritus status in January 2012, a <strong>symposium</strong> will be<br />

organised at the VU University Medical Center, Amsterdam<br />

on Friday November 25 th , 2011:<br />

The <strong>symposium</strong> will follow this year’s SSIEM Academy<br />

Course also held in Amsterdam on November 23 rd and 24 th .<br />

For all participants of either occasion there will be a gettogether<br />

on the evening of November 24 th .<br />

The farewell <strong>symposium</strong> will be followed by a reception.<br />
