2 nd Annual Git-R-Done
Celebrity Golf Classic
Dan Whitney with Peter and Jennifer Belmore and their daughter Stella, who was diagnosed with hip dysplasia after birth.
In addition to the annual golf
tournament in 2010, the
Git-R-Done Foundation made a
$5 million dollar commitment to
the Arnold Palmer Medical Center
Foundation and our International
Hip Dysplasia Institute for the
treatment and cure of hip dysplasia.
Larry the Cable Guy hosted
The Second Annual Git-
R-Done Celebrity Golf
Classic at Grand Cypress
Golf Club in Orlando. The
event raised over $100,000
for Arnold Palmer Medical
Center Foundation and the
International Hip Dysplasia
Institute at Arnold Palmer
Hospital.
Larry the Cable Guy, aka Dan
Whitney, and his wife, Cara,
have a special reason for being
involved. Their son, Wyatt,
was born with hip dysplasia,
which is the number one birth
abnormality in newborns.
“My family’s personal
experience with hip dysplasia
opened our eyes to how
common this is, but how little
is known about it,” states Dan.
“Our hope is that this gift can
be a springboard for more
research, education, and better
treatment for patients all over
the world who suffer with hip
dysplasia.”
