The Smithtown Central School<br />
District will hold a special registration<br />
period for the 2009-2010<br />
Kindergarten class. This will take<br />
place in January 2009 from 8:30-<br />
11:30 a.m. and 1-3 p.m. at the<br />
District Office, located at 26 New<br />
York Avenue in Smithtown.<br />
The 2009-2010 Kindergarten<br />
registration schedule is as follows:<br />
Dogwood Elementary<br />
January 12 and 13<br />
Mills Pond Elementary<br />
January 14 and 15<br />
Nesconset Elementary<br />
January 21 and 22<br />

Kindergarten Registration in January for 2009-2010<br />
On Tuesday, January 13 and<br />
Wednesday, January 28 evening<br />
registrations will be held to<br />
accommodate working parents.<br />
The evening registrations will<br />
start at 5:30 p.m. and conclude at<br />
8 p.m. Those students who will<br />
reach their 5th birthday on or<br />
before December 1, 2009 are eligible<br />
to register.<br />

The <strong>Town</strong> of Smithtown<br />
School Age Child Care<br />
Department is sponsoring a<br />
Nursery School Fair on Monday,<br />
January 21, 2009 at the<br />
Smithtown Library, Main Branch,<br />
downstairs in the Community<br />
Room from 10 a.m. to 12 noon.<br />
The Fair will offer parents an<br />
opportunity to gather information<br />
and to ask questions about various<br />
programs offered by the<br />
preschools within the Smithtown<br />
area. No registration is required<br />
to attend.<br />
