With the launch of ProVida 4000, Petards have taken this technology
yet further, enhancing the reliability and intuitive use that continues
to make ProVida the system of choice.
Compliant with the HOSDB 55/04 distance/time speedmeter
handbook, ProVida 4000 has fewer component parts than ever
before while encompassing additional features and benefits.
The modular design of ProVida allows for a full range of system and
upgrade options depending on budget, ranging from a simple
non-video speed measurement system to solutions encompassing
multiple cameras, MPEG4/H.264 video recoding, radar system
integration and Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR).

main components:
• Front 10x zoom camera with integral
microphone (18x zoom camera option)
• ProVida DVR
• ProVida 4000 Remote Control Unit (RCU)
• ProVida 4000 Modular
Upgrade options for ProVida include:
• Up to 3 additional cameras
• GPS antenna, providing vehicle tracking,
speed log and other meta-data information
• Live video streaming via GPRS / 3G

Training
With so many police enforcement systems in
use today, it is vital that police officers (who
are often in sections for short periods of
time) quickly gain a full understanding of
how to get the best out of these tools.

Petards have world-wide distribution and
service facilities in over 20 countries.
Any police force introducing ProVida 4000 to
