Airtight for 90 minutes
Fire dampers represent safety equipment
that must reliably prevent the spreading
of fire and smoke in ventilation and airconditioning
systems. They are installed
inside air ducts where they enter fire
zones and must have at least the same
fire resistance period as the fire zone
entered.
PICHLER fire dampers with the European
classification EI 90 (v , h , i < - > o) S are
e o
available in different lightweight and solid
variants.
Used for triggering is either a manual
thermal trigger device at about 72°C via
a soldered strut deployed outside with
optional end position switches, or an
electric motor-driven safety drive (spring
return drive).
MODEL
BSK-R-L
DESCRIPTION
Model BSK-R-L fire dampers essentially comprise a zinc-plated sheet steel housing, a flap body made of calcium silicate, an
integrated lip-seal for the cold smoke, an intumescent seal all around the flap housing and a trigger mechanism (either thermal/
manual or motor-driven triggering of the sealing element). The fire dampers are available with diameters ø 100 mm to ø 315 mm.
BSK-R-M
Model BSK-R-M fire dampers essentially comprise a zinc-plated sheet steel housing, a flap body made of calcium silicate, an
integrated lip-seal for the cold smoke, an intumescent seal all around the flap housing and a trigger mechanism (either thermal/
manual or motor-driven triggering of the sealing element). The fire dampers are available with diameters ø 355 mm to ø 630 mm.
BSK-E-L
Rectangular BSK-E-L fire dampers essentially comprise a non-combustible housing, zinc-plated sheet steel connection flanges, a flap
body made of calcium silicate, an integrated lip-seal for the cold smoke, an intumescent seal all around the flap housing and a trigger
mechanism (either thermal/manual or motor-driven triggering of the sealing element). The fire dampers are available with dimensions
200 x 100 mm (minimum) to 800 x 600 mm (maximum).
BSK-E-M
Rectangular BSK-E-M fire dampers essentially comprise a non-combustible housing made of calcium silicate plates, zinc-plated sheet
steel connection flanges, a flap body made of calcium silicate, an integrated seal for the cold smoke, an intumescent seal all around the
flap housing and a trigger mechanism (either thermal/manual or motor-driven triggering of the sealing element). The fire dampers are
available with dimensions 200 x 200 mm (minimum) to 1500 x 800 mm (maximum).
Also possible with this flap model is the ability to supply combinations of a maximum of 4 individual of model BSK-E-MK with maximum
dimensions of 2450 x 1650 mm for wall installation. Fire dampers combined this way may only be used in solid walls, in the horizontal
axis position.
