CA Immo, founded in 1987, develops and invests in commercial

real estate in Austria, Germany and the CEE/SEE/CIS regions.

The group has total property assets of €3.7bn, of which

60% in Germany after its takeover of railway property group

Vivico two years ago. A lawyer and real estate financing expert, Dr. Ettenauer has

served since 2006 on group management boards. He has over 15 years’ experience,

including a long spell as divisional director at Bank Austria Creditanstalt.


Head of Real Estate Finance,

Northern/Central Europe, Helaba, Frankfurt

Landesbank Hesse Thüringia belongs to the German savings

bank network and has branches in Paris, London and New York.

With new business of €10.4bn in 2008, Helaba now has a real

estate lending portfolio of €37bn. Hr. Kröger, a lawyer by training,

has headed the origination team for Northern and Central Europe at Helaba

since 2007. Prior to that he held a position at another real estate bank building the

HQ-based Nordic Markets team. He later took over key account management.


Real Estate Partner, Schoenherr Lawyers, Vienna

Schoenherr is a leading legal practice in Austria and CEE with

more than 50 years’ experience and an outstanding reputation

as a transactional advisor involving corporate, competition,

securities, banking and finance. It has over 300 lawyers

in 11 jurisdictions through CEE, and in 2008 was named the

IFLR Austrian Law Firm of the Year. Dr. Lagler is a partner and specialises in CEE

real estate transactions. He graduated from the University of Salzburg and

holds a Master in European Business Law.

Holger Schmidtmayr

Board Member,

Sparkassen Immobilien, Vienna

Sparkassen Immo is Austria’s longest-standing listed property

company, now with a portfolio of 263 residential, office, business

and hotel properties, valued at €1.83bn. Hr. Schmidtmayr has

board responsibility for acquisition/divestments and was previously

head of CEE expansion. Holding a Master of Law and an MBA from the University

of Vienna, his prior positions included trade finance at Erste Bank, structured finance

and infrastructure at GiroCredit, and in the Austrian Interior Ministry.

Tomasz Trzoslo

Head of Capital Markets-Central Europe, Jones

Lang LaSalle, Warsaw

Jones Lang LaSalle, one of the biggest international realtors

with 2008 global revenue of $2.7bn, serves clients in 60 countries

from 750 locations worldwide. From Warsaw, Mr. Trzoslo

heads the 18-person CEE capital markets team covering Czech

Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria and the Balkans. With 12 years’ experience

in CEE capital markets, he has a substantial track record in corporate finance,

and numerous completed debt and structured equity financing mandates.

Managing Editor, Property Investor Europe

The mission of Property Investor Europe is to create transparency

for US and global investors in mainland Europe real estate,

which it does via a team of Editors across the continent,

and various distribution channels. Mr. Saunderson was a Reuters

financial journalist in the 1980s, Head of European Research

for Bank Julius Bär in Frankfurt in the early 1990s, and named as advisor

to the French Finance Ministry by Prime Minister Pierre Bérégovoy a year later.

He moved into real estate advisory in 2002 and founded PFE in 2005.
