Example 1: The HTML generator <strong>for</strong> Simile models<br />
This is a Prolog program that generates a text document containing HTML markup <strong>for</strong> any Simile<br />
model. The document is organised submodel-by-submodel. For each submodel, it displays the<br />
model elements according to category: compartments, flows, variables, etc. For each element, it<br />
displays any in<strong>for</strong>mation it has on it, including comments, min/max values etc, with nice<br />
<strong>for</strong>matting. An extract from the HTML generated <strong>for</strong> the model above is shown in the Fig. 8.4.<br />
This tool also includes hyperlinks to enable browsing around the model. You can click on any<br />
variable used in an equation to be taken directly to where that variable is defined. You can thus<br />
very quickly chain through a whole sequence of variables, just using the mouse.<br />
