“When looking at moving to this area and selecting a Marina, we didn’t look at Port
Ludlow at first. Assuming that as beautiful as it was, as well kept and quiet/private as
it is, we just couldn’t afford it. Then as we got closer to bringing a boat up from out of
state, we found out that PL is about the same price as the other marinas in the area.
So, we contacted the manager and she was wonderful to work with. She answered all of
our questions, placed us on the waiting list, and ultimately found us a slip this last fall.
PL marina has everything we wanted; fantastic, friendly, helpful management and staff,
priced right, secure and safe, fun and welcoming fellow boaters, a beautiful location and
great sailing a few minutes out of the slip. We are very happy with our selection and
would recommend it to anyone wanting a family of boaters to join in addition to a great
place to dock their vessel.
Kori - - thanks for making us feel so welcome and part of the marina family. And kudos
to all of the great staff that are so much fun to work with.”
“This is a very sincere testimonial and recommendation of the Port Ludlow Marina. I’m
somewhat of an “Old Timer” having brought my new fifty foot sailboat up from Tacoma
in early 1978. Many of the slips and docks were still unfinished and luckily I was able
to choose my slip from a wide selection. Since that time, I have had nothing but good
experiences with the maintenance of the docks and the unfailing good humor and
enthusiastic service of the personnel. I couldn’t imagine putting my boat anyplace else.”
“I have been a Port Ludlow Marina tenant for more than 10 years and cannot speak
highly enough of the Marina management, staff and facility.
Management listens attentively and addresses issues rapidly.
Staff is friendly, courteous, respectful, responsive and competent. Doesn’t take much to
recognize this! Just stop in to buy a cup of coffee or hail them on your VHF for docking
assistance on a windy day. They are there for you!
The facility is conveniently and centrally located to many ports of call. Fishing and
crabbing are right out of the bay. Port Ludlow is a welcome safe harbor, i.e. especially on
a blustery day. Seaways are adequately sized to facilitate easy-in and -out of slips. And
the marina store is stocked with essentials for marine activity.
It doesn’t get any better than this on Puget Sound!”
- Ralph Archung

“Cynthia and I have kept both our racing sailboat and cruising powerboat at the Port
Ludlow Marina for about seven years. The very warm and very pleasant disposition
of the entire staff makes the Ludlow Marina a wonderful “Home Port”. The only
recommendation I might suggest is to increase the dockage fees for the few otters that
like to overnight from time to time.”
“We have had our 41 foot trawler at Port Ludlow for three years now and are impressed
with the Marina. It is well run, well protected from weather, and enjoyable to use. The
staff knows what it is doing and our boats are probably better off there than in many
other marinas. We are happy customers.”
- Dale & Susie Moses, Camano 41
“Recently we had to return to our slip with one engine not running. It was comforting
to know that all that was necessary to get docking assistance was a call to the marina
office - and yes, Gary was there to catch a line!”
- Terry & Janet Barnes

“The Port Ludlow Marina has a lot of great attributes, but is our favorite marina for its
feeling of safety. We’ve been to a number of marinas in the area, and this one always
feels the safest after dark. It is the epitome of the ideal marina since it not only has
a gorgeous view of the Olympics and a cheerful staff, but it also has great local food
options, miles of walking trails to stretch your legs, is dog friendly, and even has kayak
rentals to explore the islands in the shallower Ludlow Cove. Overall, a fantastic place to
visit or use for long-term moorage.”
- The Gruszewski’s
“Judy and I have lived here for over 35 years, all, but our four years in the South Pacific,
Port Ludlow Marina has been the home for whatever sailboat we owned – presently a
Hunter 43. The staff here has always taken good care of our “yacht”. The staff has
always been courteous and competent. Great place!!”
