Location: Mainly based in Shoreditch, London, you may be required to work at other venues<br />

from time to time<br />

<strong>The</strong> Prince’s <strong>Drawing</strong> <strong>School</strong> currently has an opportunity for a volunteer to join the team at<br />

our head office in Shoreditch. One of <strong>The</strong> Prince’s Charities, <strong>The</strong> Prince’s <strong>Drawing</strong> <strong>School</strong><br />

runs an innovative programme of drawing courses including an MA level postgraduate<br />

course, a Fine Art Foundation course, a Public Programme for adults and <strong>Drawing</strong> Clubs for<br />

Young Artists aged 10 -18 years.<br />

We have studios across London in Shoreditch, Trinity Buoy Wharf (near the Olympic site),<br />

South Kensington and at Kensington Palace.<br />

Working on the MA level course and the Public Programme, you will work on the End of Year<br />

exhibition, marketing and press across the school, day to day administration as well as<br />

helping to prepare for classes and events, helping out with all the millions of tasks involved in<br />

running one of the most innovative small art schools in London.<br />

<strong>The</strong> role would suit a recent graduate looking for valuable work experience in the art world<br />

with a desire to gain experience working at a world-class arts charity.<br />

<strong>Volunteer</strong> Spec<br />

• Degree (or equivalent)<br />

• Good knowledge of the workings of office equipment and software e.g. Microsoft<br />

Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint), Windows XP, internet, databases<br />

• Clear communication skills, written and verbal, able to liaise with people at all levels<br />

• Enthusiastic and hardworking with attention to detail<br />

• Flexible and adaptable approach<br />

• Motivated with heaps of initiative<br />

• Interest in the art world, marketing and press, arts education<br />
