sellers and spectators are cautioned to be careful at any<br />

time they are around horses. <strong>Professional</strong> <strong>Auction</strong> <strong>Services</strong>,<br />

<strong>Inc</strong>. and it’s employees are not liable for an injury<br />

to or death of anyone attending this event resulting from<br />

the inherent risk of equine activities.<br />

• EXAMINE HORSES BEFORE BIDDING. Veterinary assistance<br />

is available on bidder’s request to <strong>Auction</strong>eer.<br />

• Buyer has the right to have a LIMITED VETERINARY<br />

EXAMINATION WITHIN <strong>12</strong> HOURS OF THE START<br />

OF THE SESSION IN WHICH THE HORSE SELLS<br />

AND BEFORE THE HORSE LEAVES THE SALE<br />

GROUNDS.<br />

• A PAID RECEIPT OR RELEASE IS REQUIRED TO<br />

REMOVE ANY HORSE FROM THE SALE GROUNDS.<br />

• DO NOT REMOVE HIP NUMBERS FROM HORSES<br />

BEFORE LEAVING GROUNDS or you may be detained<br />

by Security for Verification.<br />

• ALL SALES OR TRANSACTIONS MADE ON THE<br />

SALE GROUNDS MUST BE REPORTED TO AND<br />

MADE THROUGH THE SALE OFFICE.<br />

selling for riding purposes. Represented as sound<br />

enough to carry a foal or to breed mares.<br />

• NO PARKING IN THE BARN AREA - This regulation<br />

will be enforced by the Fire Marshall<br />

• ALL DOGS MUST BE ON A LEASH.<br />

In the Sale Preview, classes will run to simulate a<br />

show. The following classes will be offered during<br />

the Sale Preview:<br />

CLASS SCHEDULE<br />

Class 1 • Horses or Ponies Shown in Hand<br />

Class 2 • Under Saddle Walk/Trot Ponies Aged 4 &<br />

Under<br />

Class 3 • Under Saddle - Ponies<br />

Class 4 • Ponies Over Fences - crossrails to 2’3”<br />

Class 5 • Under Saddle Walk/Trot Horses & Ponies<br />

Age 4 & Under<br />

Class 6 • Under Saddle - Horses<br />

Class 7 • Trail and Recreational Riding<br />

Class 8 • Over Fences - Horses or Ponies -<br />

crossrails to 2’6”<br />

Class 9 • Under Saddle - Horses<br />

Class 10 • Over Fences - 2’6” to 3’<br />

Class 11 • Trail and Recreational Riding - for those<br />

that have not worked<br />

Class <strong>12</strong> • Under Saddle - for horses or ponies that<br />

have not worked.<br />

Class 13 • Over Fences 3’ to 3’6”<br />

Class 14 • Other individual work<br />

Class 15 • Horses or Ponies Shown in Hand<br />

Under Saddle Walk/Trot Horses & Ponies 4 & Under<br />

- shown on the rail at a walk and trot. As the horse or<br />

pony is introduced it may move to the center to trot or<br />

canter a circle.<br />

Under Saddle - English or Western - shown on the rail<br />

at a walk, trot and canter.<br />

Over Fences - A course with fences at various heights<br />

will be used for the demonstration. Please demonstrate<br />

over fences only one time. Up to 4 horses or<br />

ponies may work at the same time, at the direction of<br />

the announcer.<br />

Trail and Recreational Riding - Horses may be demonstrated<br />

under english or western tack and will perform<br />

at the walk, trot and canter to show suitability for<br />

trail riding or pleasure riding.<br />

Other individual work - (Prospects on the longe line,<br />

driving, dressage, reining, etc.) When introduced,<br />

horse will be given a couple of minutes to work. (If<br />

space allows, 2 horses will work at a time).<br />

All introductions in the Demonstration will be<br />

brief and will NOT include updates.
