Indications for holes to take o<strong>the</strong>r<br />
components<br />
<strong>SNL</strong> <strong><strong>housing</strong>s</strong> can be fitted with sensors<br />
serving permanently installed condition<br />
monitoring equipment based on vibration<br />
measurements. The positions where holes<br />
can be drilled to take <strong>the</strong>se sensors are<br />
indicated on <strong>the</strong> <strong>housing</strong>.<br />
Simple mounting<br />
In order to simplify mounting and make<br />
alignment more accurate, cast indications,<br />
which are vertical to <strong>the</strong> centre of <strong>the</strong> bore<br />
of <strong>the</strong> <strong>housing</strong>, are provided on <strong>the</strong> end<br />
faces as well as on <strong>the</strong> side faces of <strong>the</strong><br />
<strong>housing</strong> base. Mounting instructions, included<br />
with each seal pack, give valuable<br />
tips.<br />
Additional seals<br />
Two new seal designs have been developed<br />
specifically for <strong>SNL</strong> <strong><strong>housing</strong>s</strong>.<br />
One is intended for difficult conditions<br />
which call for a robust seal which can be<br />
relubricated and <strong>the</strong> o<strong>the</strong>r is for high<br />
speeds and oil lubrication.<br />
