The JR2000 Series Desktop robots are designed to minimize footprint and maximize efficiencies in assembly line operations.<br />
This design is based on the idea of worker supplementation to increase the efficiency of workers in order to reduce labor<br />
content. With the JR2000 Series robots, assembly line workers stay busy loading and unloading fixtures while the robot is<br />
performing precision assembling tasks.<br />
• Application Specific Software<br />
<s<strong>tr</strong>ong>Janome</s<strong>tr</strong>ong> has gone a step further than their <s<strong>tr</strong>ong>com</s<strong>tr</strong>ong>petition by developing application specific<br />
software for The JR2000 Series Robots. Application specific software has been developed for<br />
Screw Fastening, Soldering and Dispensing applications. The application specific software<br />
makes our easy to use software even easier by providing preprogrammed operations that can<br />
be selected or modified from a menu. Example: Screw Tightening Conditions that ask for<br />
Thread Pitch, Driver RPM, Screw Length, etc. This significantly reduces development time<br />
for these tedious processes.<br />
• Teaching Pendant<br />
Teaching the JR2000 Series Desktop robot is easy with the large,<br />
7-line LCD screen. Position of the robot and expanded views of the<br />
point jobs are achieved with the large teaching pendant and prove to be an asset when programming.<br />
JR2000 Series Software has eliminated the need to learn <s<strong>tr</strong>ong>com</s<strong>tr</strong>ong>plicated programming languages.<br />
An Interactive dialog based software allows the user to easily walk through setup of a program.

• PC Software<br />
JR Points ® is an optional PC Software package available for the JR 2000 Series robots. The<br />
PC Software allows the end user to program an infinite number of programs and download<br />
them to the robot as needed. JR Points also includes a <s<strong>tr</strong>ong>com</s<strong>tr</strong>ong>piler to convert .dxf files into .jcs<br />
format, which is the robots resident file. The PC Software also allows you to print all<br />
program data and store programs offline.<br />
• Memory Capacity<br />
The JR2000 Series robot has a memory capacity of 100 programs and/or 6,000 points. This is ten times<br />
the program capacity as the previous generation of <s<strong>tr</strong>ong>Janome</s<strong>tr</strong>ong> robots. The end user has the ability to expand<br />
beyond the 6,000 points with the use of call program and palletizing functions. <s<strong>tr</strong>ong>Janome</s<strong>tr</strong>ong> has also adopted a<br />
flash memory card to save program and operational data for back-up purposes.<br />
• Interface<br />
<s<strong>tr</strong>ong>Janome</s<strong>tr</strong>ong> provides ample I/O for even the most <s<strong>tr</strong>ong>com</s<strong>tr</strong>ong>plicated assembly operations. The JR2000 Series Desktop<br />
robot is supplied standard with 16 inputs and 16 outputs and an optional addition of 8 inputs and 8 outputs.<br />
The robot also has two COM ports for <s<strong>tr</strong>ong>com</s<strong>tr</strong>ong>munications with the optional PC software and vision systems. In addition the robot<br />
has built-in PLC functions, that can operate independently of the robot, that use portions of the robots I/O. Extended I/O<br />
option is not available on the JR2200 Series robot.

The JR2000 Series desktop robots are capable of simultaneous con<strong>tr</strong>ol of up to four axes. The robot performs 3D linear and arc<br />
interpolations to include <s<strong>tr</strong>ong>com</s<strong>tr</strong>ong>pound arcs. The proprietary 3D-con<strong>tr</strong>ol system ensures smooth and accurate positioning of the<br />
robot with repeatability of ±0.01mm.<br />

Dispensing<br />
The JR2000 Series robot is one of the worlds most widely<br />
used platforms for automatic dispensing. The simultaneous<br />
con<strong>tr</strong>ol over all axis provides for 3D linear and arc<br />
interpolations that are required for <s<strong>tr</strong>ong>com</s<strong>tr</strong>ong>plicated gasketing<br />
processes. <s<strong>tr</strong>ong>Janome</s<strong>tr</strong>ong> has developed special application<br />
software that simplifies programming of the robot for<br />
dispensing applications. The JR2000 series robot can also be<br />
equipped with an UV spot curing light source to cure<br />
material immediately after dispensing.<br />
Screw Fastening<br />
<s<strong>tr</strong>ong>Janome</s<strong>tr</strong>ong> provides turnkey systems for screw fastening with<br />
either a Hios D/C elec<strong>tr</strong>ic clutch type driver or the K/X<br />
Series Current Con<strong>tr</strong>olled Screwdriver with 16<br />
programmable channels. <s<strong>tr</strong>ong>Janome</s<strong>tr</strong>ong> has developed special<br />
software for both the Hios and KX series screwdrivers to<br />
ensure proper torque depth is achieved. Jamac, Inc. can<br />
provide either blow-feed or pick and place configurations on<br />
the screw driving system.<br />
Soldering<br />
Jamac, Inc. offers turnkey soldering solutions for both point<br />
and line soldering applications. Our soldering<br />
software allows you to program 16 different soldering<br />
conditions from easy to understand menus. With the use of a<br />
geyan-feeder, solder balls and spattering have been<br />
eliminated in the soldering process. Options are available for<br />
wet sponge or blow-off cleaning.<br />
The JR 2000 Series robot is capable of being programmed for<br />
nearly any point or line soldering application available.<br />
Vision Inspection<br />
<s<strong>tr</strong>ong>Janome</s<strong>tr</strong>ong> has incorporated offset algorithms to accept X, Y, Z<br />
and R inputs to adjust work piece orientation before a<br />
program is initiated. This allows the robot to ensure<br />
accurate delivery of payload and placement of tools. The<br />
robot can also be equipped with CCD Cameras to inspect<br />
different areas of circuit boards before dispensing, soldering<br />
or driving screws.<br />
Board Cutting<br />
Jamac, Inc. offers a turnkey printed circuit board<br />
depaneling system. Our JR2000 Series Tab Router is designed<br />
to cut printed circuit boards out of panels in a tab-routed<br />
configuration with ex<strong>tr</strong>eme accuracy. Options include<br />
underside vacuum box for dust removal, ionized blow off and<br />
automatic tool changer. Tab routing of circuit boards is the<br />
only way to depanel without s<strong>tr</strong>essing your circuit boards.<br />

• Routing Robot<br />
The JR2000 Series Routing Robots allow for .dxf file conversion of cutting paths. The Routing System is available on all threeaxis<br />
JR2000 Series Robot. The units can be equipped with vacuum boxes, ironizing nozzles and full enclosures as an option.<br />
Maximum cutting speed is 100mm/sec and 800mm/sec.<br />
• Router Spindle<br />
The closed loop D/C motor maintains constant speed even<br />
when under load for the smoothest possible operation. The<br />
motor & spindle assemblies are cons<strong>tr</strong>ucted of SUS416<br />
Stainless Steel to ensure long life and rigidity. Cooling of the<br />
motor and spindle requires as little as 0.35 CFM of air. If the<br />
con<strong>tr</strong>oller does not sense enough air pressure, the motor and<br />
spindle will not operate. The routing system is also available<br />
with an optional air actuated chuck that allows for automatic<br />
tool changing.<br />

for thin or densely populated boards that do not tolerate<br />

standard 25 inputs and 24 outputs and an optional 32 inputs and 32 outputs. The robot also has two COM ports for<br />

• Programming (Teaching)<br />
<s<strong>tr</strong>ong>Janome</s<strong>tr</strong>ong> has made programming easy by using a large seven line LCD teaching pendant that allows the end user to view multiple<br />
parameters for every point. The optional PC software allows all parameters to be viewed in a single screen for each point. It also<br />
allows you to save an infinite number of programs. There are three methods for teaching position to the robot. You can either<br />
move the arm to the desired location, use jog keys on the teaching pendant to move the arm to the desired location or directly<br />
enter the coordinates of the desired location.
• PLC Functions<br />
The JSR4400 SCARA has built-in PLC functions that can operate independently of the robots standard I/O. This function is<br />
highly desirable when performing multitasking operations in a single cell. The built in PLC allows for (50) 100 line logic<br />
programs.<br />
• Memory Capacity<br />
The JSR4400 has a data capacity of 100 programs and/or 6000points. The programs can be written to a PC file and the Flash<br />
memory card that stores the robot’s operating system. When using with a PC, there are an infinite number of programs which<br />
can be saved to a <s<strong>tr</strong>ong>com</s<strong>tr</strong>ong>puter.
• Overview<br />
JP Series presses allow for programmable force, speed, distance and dwell time. Utilizing the<br />
onboard 32bit processor plus feedback from the built-in load cell and encoder, the press is<br />
capable of performing <s<strong>tr</strong>ong>com</s<strong>tr</strong>ong>plex assembly and testing operations. <s<strong>tr</strong>ong>Janome</s<strong>tr</strong>ong> has developed user<br />
friendly software for easy set up of pressing operations and <s<strong>tr</strong>ong>com</s<strong>tr</strong>ong>parative analysis to ensure parts<br />
are being assembled according to specifications.<br />
• High Precision<br />
The JP series press is repeatable to ±1% of the maximum load value for a particular<br />
model. The JP053 model would be accurate to .5kg or 1 lb. <s<strong>tr</strong>ong>Janome</s<strong>tr</strong>ong> has selected<br />
high-resolution servomotors and precision ground ball screws to ensure repeat<br />
accuracy of ±0.01mm.<br />
• Sensor Setting<br />
You can program multiple sensor settings to ensure loads are met at defined points<br />
during the press operation. Sensor settings look at load, position, distance and<br />
differential points to ensure that the press signature is following a well-defined path<br />
throughout the entire cycle. If the signature exceeds the limits in a sensor setting,<br />
the press will alarm the operator of the defect and specify which sensor setting was<br />
violated.<br />

from 50.0kg – 8,000kg. We can provide a model for nearly any small part assembly<br />
application. If you have a bench-top assembly process that requires more con<strong>tr</strong>ol,<br />
<s<strong>tr</strong>ong>Janome</s<strong>tr</strong>ong> offers a stand-alone type press. If you are building a custom machine with<br />
minimum space cons<strong>tr</strong>aints, you may require the ul<strong>tr</strong>a <s<strong>tr</strong>ong>com</s<strong>tr</strong>ong>pact unit type press. A<br />
head type configuration is also offered and can be mounted either on a<br />

that you select the type of pressing operation wanted and set max load and distance<br />

Our press is widely used for plugging cross-drilled channels<br />
in ABS valve bodies. The Elec<strong>tr</strong>o Press can be programmed<br />
to press to a touch load to determine part contact. Then<br />
the press will insert the ball/plug to a specified depth from<br />
con<strong>tr</strong>act point while sensing force throughout the s<strong>tr</strong>oke.<br />
Multiple judgement areas can be programmed to look for<br />
specific force-distance signatures. Probe limit positions are<br />

Guide roller assembly<br />
This application requires an input device to measure the<br />
distance between the bottom side of the upper disk and the<br />
topside of the lower disk. When the disks reach the proper<br />
distance, a measurement device sends an input to the press<br />
to end the cycle and applied force is checked to ensure it<br />
did not exceed preprogrammed limits. P1 represents lower<br />
