Mini Musical Monsters lets learners explore very simple music-making ideas and
experiment with sound effects and volume. Each of the six activities stimulates creative
thinking and introduces young learners to valuable musical vocabulary.
Musical Monsters is a perfect introduction to music making. A monster represents each
sound, so users simply click to place monsters into the grid and then click ‘play’ to hear
the sound pattern or tune. Learners can quickly and easily compose tunes, listen and
make changes.
More Musical Monsters is based on the popular grid design of Musical Monsters, but is a
more extensive composition tool with additional configurable options, making it versatile
enough to be used by all ages within Key Stage 2. The program helps learners to identify
and explore endless sound patterns, rhythms and musical features.
