Real world examples<br />
During an outage a refuelling bridge malfunctioned. Without an<br />
optimized communications system, the site maintenance team would<br />
have to relay bridge troubleshooting information through a third party<br />
outside of containment. The third party would then have to relay that<br />
information back to the manufacturer. The information would then<br />
have to travel back through the third party before it reached the site<br />
maintenance personnel.<br />

This inefficient communications system opens the door to a variety of<br />
communications errors, not to mention extra dose and lost time<br />
Fortunately the site was equipped with a unified site wide<br />
communications system. This allowed the bridge manufacturer to<br />
speak directly with site personnel in real time as they worked on the<br />
bridge, hundreds of miles away from each other. This unique capability<br />
saved the site many hours, if not days of troubleshooting and lost<br />
