Oklahoma Genealogical Society Volume 56, No. 4 2011. This article states that Family History Centers are<br />
still alive and well. They provide an important service helping beginners get started and have access to <strong>com</strong>puters,<br />
classes on genealogy and to be a gathering place for genealogists.<br />
South King County Genealogical Society January/February <strong>2012</strong>. This <strong>pub</strong>lication has helpful articles on<br />
many subjects of interest especially on this area of Washington. This issue has an interesting article on SSDI<br />
by Roger Eastman. Many groups want to close this resource for all the wrong reasons according to Roger, so<br />
take a look and see which side you are on.<br />
Fiske Family Genealogy Forum Newsletter Winter <strong>2012</strong>. Here is a list of archives in the Seattle area you<br />
may not be aware of. They include Seattle Public Schools, Providence, Ballard Historical Society, King County<br />
Archives, Washington State Jewish Archives and more Article lists address and other infomation like phone,<br />
email hours etc.<br />
Chelan Valley Genealogical Society Volume 2, Issue 4. A list of best sites for researching in Eastern Europe<br />

Minnesota Genealogical Society Winter 2011. A thoughtful article by the editor on slowing down on your<br />
research and taking a detour or genealogical side trip. He cites two examples in this issue. One is of Elizabeth<br />
Stephens Fawkner of Lee Co Iowa and one on Charles Parmen of Iowa and Cal. Both worth a read.
