Cutting Instructions: (continued)<br />

2. Pair together 3 wedges as shown in Diagram 3<br />

(1 of Unit A and 2 of Unit B). Sew together,<br />

matching seams carefully. They will butt up<br />

against each other. Press these two seams OPEN.<br />

3. Repeat for the bottom half of the <strong>Spiderweb</strong><br />

Block, using 2 of Unit A and 1 of Unit B. Match<br />

seams and then press the new seams OPEN.<br />

4. Sew the two half-hexagon halves together to<br />

form the <strong>Spiderweb</strong> block. Press center<br />

horizontal seam OPEN. Make 7 blocks.<br />

Set aside 8 wedges for diamonds.<br />

5. Fold light background fabric strips (6-1/2" x wof)<br />

into 22" x wof, wrong sides together. Use Template B and align the vertical line as shown and cut out the halfrectangle<br />

setting triangles as shown. Cut a total of 6 doubles (6 Template B, 6 Template B-Reversed)<br />

Use Template A and cut 16 triangles as shown. Now it’s time to assemble!<br />

<strong>Quilt</strong> Top Assembly:<br />

1. Sewing Rows 1 & 3: Sew two <strong>Spiderweb</strong> blocks with the full triangles and press as shown. Sew 2 pieced<br />

triangles to form a diamond. Make two. Join with background print triangles. Add the last half rectangles<br />

to the ends. Press the seams toward the triangles and half-rectangles. Make two of these rows.<br />
