BackCare? They welcome new members. They are a
friendly group of men and women of various ages who
meet once a week for an hour of exercises in lovely
warm water at Pulse 8 in Winnersh. Exercises are led by
a trained physiotherapist with a pool helper. They each
work within the group at our own pace. Ideal for post
operative rehabilitation or to help to maintain movement
and muscle tone. It costs £66 for a six-week term. There is

Reading and District Fuchsia Society are a very friendly
society and welcome guests to their Monday meetings.
They meet at Maiden Place Community Centre, Maiden
Place, Lower Early, Reading. There are often guest speakers
and instructional evenings on all aspects of growing
fuchsias, as well as speakers talking about other plants,
geraniums, orchids, lilies etc. The meetings start at 7.30pm
till 9.30pm, with a break for refreshments. There’s a charge
of 50p per guest and if you enjoy the evening you might
like to join.
Bracknell Mixed Sauna Club is a naturist club
that hires the Forest Spa Suite at the Bracknell
Sports & Leisure Centre for two hours every Sunday
evening. It has existed for over 30 years and members
come from all walks of life. Some are keen naturists
but others just prefer not to wear a clammy swimming
costume in the sauna. The facilities include a sauna,
saunarium, steam room, two Jacuzzis and a foot spa.
There is also a pleasant lounge area with loungers and
tables and chairs. They encourage visitors, who can only

new tack this winter. According to NFU Mutual’s claims
data, £1.3 million of claims involved items commonly used
by horse owners and farmers including trailers, fencing
equipment, tack and feed. The data comes as no surprise
as farms and livery yards are a favourite hunting ground
for thieves, as they are often unattended when it’s dark
making it easier for thieves to operate. During the colder
season it is important to remember that thieves do not
take a holiday and ensuring you protect your tack and
equipment will reduce the risk of rural crime dampening
the festive spirit.
