Upsizing factors for mixed systems
The “mixed system” term refers to a system where Zehnder Radiavector
radiators may be combined into a single system with other
Zehnder radiators (Zehnder Charleston, Zehnder Bank-Radiator), and
with sectional radiators per DIN 4722 (for steel radiators) or DIN 4720
(for cast iron radiators) under uniform operating conditions.
Due to different performance parameters (radiator exponents), the
heat capacities will differ somewhat under partial loading from parameters
of other Zehnder radiators. In order to avoid this problem, we
recommend upsizing the Zehnder Radiavector radiator capacities in
accordance with the following table:
