Tobias Knichel<br />

Commercial Manager<br />

Flybrid Automotive Ltd<br />

Tobias Knichel is the Commercial<br />

Manager at Flybrid. In his current role<br />

Tobias is responsible for Marketing,<br />

Sales and the Project Management<br />

of all internal and external Flybrid<br />

projects. Tobias has a strong engineering background,<br />

having previously worked as Lead Engineer LMP1 as well<br />

as Design and Development Engineer at Flybrid. Before<br />

joining Flybrid, Tobias worked for Opel in Germany on<br />

their Touring car project in the DTM racing series.<br />

Ashok Nedungadi<br />

Principal Engineer<br />

Engine and Vehicle R & D<br />

Southwest Research Institute<br />

Dr. Nedungadi completed his<br />

Masters degree at the Swiss<br />

Federal Institute of Technology,<br />

and his Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering at the<br />

University of Connecticut in the US. During his<br />

25 years at Southwest Research Institute, he<br />

co-developed a comprehensive vehicle modeling and<br />

simulation toolbox to assist in designing and analyzing<br />

custom hybrid electric/hydraulic and conventional<br />

powertrains. Currently, he is involved in advanced<br />

concepts such as hardware-in-the-loop and advanced<br />

control strategy development for heavy duty vehicle<br />

applications.<br />
