For a minor in Religious Studies, a student must complete 5 courses, (with at least 3 at
the 300/400 level). Of these, 1 course must be taken from the Core, and 4 courses from a
variety of departmental offerings, with the requirement that these 4 courses be taken from at
least 3 different departments. The University requires that at least 15 hours of the work
applied toward a minor must consist of courses which are not used to satisfy General Education
requirements, and at least 9 of these hours must be credits earned at the University. Grades
of C or better are required in all courses applicable to the minor. Please refer to the back of
this page for a complete listing of approved departmental course offerings.
