Admissions<br />

1. Completed application and application fee.<br />

2. Written statement of educational and professional<br />

goals, and explanation of how the DBA<br />

program will help achieve them.<br />

3. Current resume.<br />

4. Three letters of recommendation to be forwarded<br />

directly by references to <strong>St</strong>. <strong>Ambrose</strong><br />

<strong>University</strong>. At least one letter should be from<br />

an employer who is qualified to discuss the<br />

candidate’s professional skills. At least one letter<br />

should be from a professor who is able to<br />

comment about the candidate’s performance<br />

and ability to pursue doctoral studies.<br />

5. A minimum of one and up to three written<br />

scholarly projects as testimony to scholarship.<br />

6. Official copies of GMAT scores to be forwarded<br />

directly from Educational Testing<br />

Services.<br />

7. Official transcripts to be forwarded directly<br />

from all colleges and universities previously<br />

attended.<br />

8. A master’s degree in business, management,<br />

economics, accounting, or a related but<br />

acceptable field from an accredited educational<br />

institution is required. If the master’s degree<br />

is in an area outside of business, it may be<br />

necessary to complete relevant business course<br />

work prior to entrance into the DBA program.<br />

9. A personal interview may be required.<br />

10.For candidates whose primary language is not<br />

English, the TOEFL score will be required.<br />

Retention Committee after an applicant’s file is<br />

DBA 901. Research Methods I 3 credits<br />

This course is designed to prepare the doctoral<br />

student for the performing of significant organization<br />

science research. This includes identifying<br />

important research questions, critiquing research<br />

ideas and designs, planning and conducting substantive<br />

research investigations and communicating<br />

research ideas and results.<br />
