It is the recommendation of Mr. Michael Connors, Director, Office of Transportation Services and Staff, to approve
the conforming firms for an amount to be determined. Request authority for the Office of Purchasing Services to
renew the contracts annually for two additional one year periods. Additional vendors may be added to this contract
after the first year as long as they agree to the original terms and conditions. If additional vendors are added to this
RFP after they will be presented to the Board for approval. Contract renewal shall be contingent upon the Office of
Transportation Services request for continuation of services and annual contract review.

SCOPE OF RFP
RFP 12003/BP– Supplemental Charter Bus Service
The purpose of this RFP is to establish a contract with multiple vendors for Charter Bus Service as
listed and described on the price sheet at the end of this solicitation. The School Board of Brevard
County (hereinafter referred to as “the School District” will issue purchase orders on an as needed
basis. The School District desired information from companies interested in pre-qualifying with the
School District to provide extracurricular transportation services. Note that only companies who
have been approved by the School District through this Request for Proposal (RFP) process will be
eligible to provide transportation services to the School District through September 30, 2012.
